For the last four weeks I've been feeling this, and I'm not really sure if it's a good thing. I've never taken any drugs, and I haven't been particularly stressed. It just seems to have happened randomly when I woke up and hasn't gone away. Everything just feels strange and foreign, even my own hands or if I look at my face in the mirror. It's not that I'm hallucinating; I can see that it is definitely me, but it feels like I'm in some kind of cloudy dream where everything is a slightly strange version of what I know it to be.
I can't seem to care about the things that I know I need to care about. The normal everyday responsibilities that I've always had feel unneeded. I haven't shaved in four weeks, and I don't even get dressed when I go outside to get the mail or when I take Bruno for his walks. Normally I care about looking presentable, but now I seem perfectly fine with gym shorts, a thin white t-shirt, and messy hair every day of the week. Even as I'm doing it, I can realize that this is something I normally would never do, but I can't seem to care enough to force myself to do otherwise.
There are also some strange physical things that I'm feeling. Everything tastes so much better, all of the little flavors and textures that I would normally unconsciously dismiss, I'm now fully aware of as I eat it. Even touching things feels amazing. I spent an hour in the shower yesterday, because I couldn't get enough of the feeling of the warm water touching my back.
Is this something that I should be worried about?

Yeah.
It's freaky, bro. This is exactly me at the beginning of my 4th semester. I just stopped caring about everything I know I should have been caring about. Started to feel surreal at times. I'd go days eating only peanuts. Not shaving or brushing teeth (something that makes me feel gross, which I normally can't stand). Not talking to anyone in person for days. I don't even know all of the bizarre and completely unhealthy things I did while in that state. It was a terrible time. Thought about suicide a lot for no real reason. Watched people through the window and felt like I was in a different world. Played games and read different things for insane non-stop sessions. Lost track of what day it was completely. Slept whenever my body decided to fall asleep. Woke whenever it decided to wake up.
...bad times. Did not feel good, man. I still don't know why I did it. Ruined that semester, too.
Can't say I can relate to that last part, though. lol Everything felt dull to me.

Well, I guess I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that has felt like this, but I don't know. Like, for you it was "Feels bad, man" but over here it's like "Feels OK, man". My routine hasn't really changed; it's just done differently. I almost enjoy feeling like this, but half of the time I feel awkward because I have no idea what caused it or whether or not I should be worried. I start my summer job next Monday and I'm scared to find out whether that'll make me feel better or worse.

I told myself it felt okay, man. But it was not healthy. I started to feel like I wasn't even human anymore. Just...empty. It was awesome doing nothing but whatever I wanted. Not caring about anything.
I felt a lot better once I got away from it all, came home and got some life back in me. When May swung around and I got my job back again, I felt a lot more human. I still often wonder if I really enjoy this, though. What's the point? But oh well. I push on and enjoy my free time. That makes living worth it, I guess.

Oh man, I've had one of these days.
I felt like I was one with nature, it was so bad. My friends all thought I had smoked before I came to school that day, since I was acting significantly different than usual. Things that usually made me made or I just plain out ignored suddenly garnered my interest, and more stuff like that. Came to head in football where I got cold cocked and didn't even realize it until my elbow started to swell up and I couldn't feel my arm.
Rest of the day was good, though.

I've had many days like this, and they only happen when I haven't slept much the previous day. It's not so much feeling good as "dude what's going on" for the whole day.

Yeah, I'd be concerned. My guess is that something isn't right, whether it's your brain chemistry, various hormone levels, or some other physical problem. Go visit your doctor and explain the situation. I'm sure they'll be able to help you figure out what on earth is causing this so you can be yourself again
I've experienced the unreal effect before when I was younger (Due to my dosage of some medication being too high it seemed). It's so strange. I didn't experience the other stuff you described though.
Good luck

Believe it or not, this is actually how I feel for as long as I can remember. Everytime something is expected of me I have to really push myself to do it, even if it is the smallest thing ever that requires like no effort at all, I just don't care for it. Over the years I've learnt to deal with it, but for stuff like schoolwork I usually still prcrastinate 'till like 12am the day before due date for big products. I know I should care a lot, because it's for my future, but it's like my body won't let me do it unless there's absulotely no other choice I have to do so.

That's a lot like depression actually.
Stuff that was once easy comes the biggest mission ever.

But it was never easy to begin with, it's the only reality I know, really.

During summer I sometimes do, because I begin to forget the days of the week or what time it really is due to the awkward way I sleep.
I feel like I've only been awake for a day, but seems as though a whole week passed by and nothing happened.
