Don't max Soul Arrow. Max Crossbow Mastery. I would still recommend more into Mine because max Soul Arrow is just garbage.

Coming from a BM, soul arrow is junk, like JoeTang says. I hate having put as many points as i have into it.

The only reason Archers put so many points into Soul Arrow is because Final Attack is even worse garbage.

I don't get it. Why would you put that one point into Mastery, which only gives you +1 accuracy, over Soul Arrow, which would give you ~30 more seconds of no arrow usage? It's only one point and either way, it doesn't matter.

Because Crossbow Expertise is very very important. Wild Hunters are already short 9 points from maxing everything in Third Job, not that Crossroads is very useful to begin with though.

Oh! I didn't realize Wild Hunters got Crossbow Expert. lol

I don't see anything in the data about linking Final Attack with another skill. This skill is even worse than Iron Body because at least Iron Body gives you something in return for your points.

I personally think Crossbow Mastery should take priority over Spring Shot completely. A single point in Mine would help quite a bit in Pyramid since Jaguar Roar is slow, and Spring Shot has a minimum range. Until you're 8x, Archers do not really have an option to stand still and train. They should always be circulating a map side to side killing mobs, such as in C-2.

You only need 6 Soul Arrow to sync with maxed Booster. Most Hunter and Crossbow builds top Booster and SA at 6 and 2 to sync at 60 seconds, 90 seconds is plenty of buff time. Having another 90 more seconds on Soul Arrow (level 12) won't make you train any faster. It's even perfectly acceptable to use Arrows for quite a while, even into 5x since you'll almost always be using Spring Shot which only costs one arrow per shot, and Jaguar Roar to gain range, which I presume costs no arrows. Jaguar Roar is likely to be your primary attack skill in Pyramid in any case if you go there. In CPQ, C-2, B-3, other general training maps at 4x~8x, you'll just be Spring Shotting forward and Jaguar Roaring if things get too close or you need instant stun, almost exclusively, and just Roaring mobs closer to be able to Spring Shot them unless you O-2HKO with Triple Shot.

Like Rangers and Snipers, Wild Hunters will have the option of Newtie Sniping for the rest of their career until they can tank hits, or they can go to mobbier maps such as Red Nose, Wind Raider, Gallos, etc. Spring Shot has a huge focus as Crossroads has pitiful DPS, damage in general, and Crossbow Mastery apparently doesn't affect it or Claw Cut. If that passive critical is available, they'll have a huge advantage over Rangers and Snipers at Newties with their massive Five Shot damage bonus, as well as their Riding Mastery bonus. Maxed Claw Cut does have better %/s than Spring Shot on smaller mobs due to its multihit mechanic, though the lack of mastery makes them about even; unless something like Riding Mastery improves Jaguar's damage mastery, Spring shot is a superior skill, especially if it has the Pierce mechanic, making it significantly stronger than Crossbowmen's Iron Arrow, and Hunter's Arrow Bomb.

Bomb shot is your main skill during your 2nd job.
I'm not sure which skill you're talking about when you say Spring Shot, but it's usually Roar 2 to 3 times to make a mob -> Bomb shot.
Level 20 Bomb shot is 150%, and Level 20 Roar is 120%. Bomb shot is way faster as well. Roar is used for a rushing skill rather than an attacking skill.

Also, the really dumb thing about Mine is that it just appears behind you. It's damage is horrible, and it pops before any mob even respawns. I guess it's better than Soul arrow by looking at your comments.
I didn't know how useless Soul arrow would be since I never tried an archer. I'll fix that up.

What I've noticed for Bomb Shot is that its damage improves as it pierces more targets. It's appeared in all the videos I've seen it, and it's almost always a noticeable increase. It's not just some chance where the first arrow hits your absolute minimum, and the last just happen to hit the absolute max; there's a huge gap between them that the damage range can't explain. As such, it remains your primary mob skill for the rest of the game, unless something like Riding Mastery actually gives your Jaguar Mastery for skills like Sonic Boom to do decent damage.

I don't see how Mine could be running out in 33 seconds before more mobs spawn though. It helps lure larger mobs towards you so you don't have to waste time Roaring. Especially somewhere huge like C-2.

Let's say you train at C-2 for instance. You roar 1 time and get a mob of 3. You walk forward to roar another time for a bigger mob. In that time, you drop a mine. It explodes in 2-3 seconds. No good there because you just moved the mob AWAY FROM THE MINE.

No it doesn't.

I know it's not necessary, but low timers really bother me. I'd go with max Soul Arrow and leave the pomegranatety mine thing at 0 or 1. It's a terrible skill and I hate it. I mean, there would be nothing wrong with it (logic says better to drop a mine than to not drop a mine, right?), but the mine-dropping process counts as an attack or something, and you can't start up another attack while it's dropping a mine. Which basically means that the mine is interrupting a fourth of my attacks so that it can drop to the ground behind me and maybe do 300 damage to a monster that just spawned.

We're getting the names from [1.2.314] Wild Hunter Job.

Second skill in 2nd job:
Fiel Wrote:봄 샷 (Spring Shot)
Description: [마스터 레벨 : 30]\n폭탄이 장착된 관통형 화살을 날려 최대 6마리의 적들을 공격한다. 공격이 성공했을 때 일정 확률로 적들은 기절 상태가 된다. (Fire an explosive arrow. When it explodes, have a chance to stun up to 6 enemies.)

Second skill in 2nd job:

Google translate was a dumbass. 봄 means Spring in Korean. The season spring.
It's pronounced Bomb, so it's 봄, but it doesn't mean the season spring.

Well that changes everything. Any info as to why anyone should even put points into Crossroads though? Because that'll affect whether or not you can max Crossbow Mastery in 3rd or 2nd.

I recreated the builds after taking a look at the revamped skill charts.
Can anyone proofread/correct/suggest things if they're out of order please.

As for second job, it's not really worth grabbing Soul Arrow that early. You wouldn't really go through arrows all that fast until 3rd job or until you start training for long periods of time. I'd leave Soul Arrow til later and get more Bomb Shot/Mastery earlier on.

Also, how does Mine work, exactly?
