+2 literary points to anyone who can name the two books I ripped off the title from.

"I can't fucking believe it."
Professor Oak looked around his lab, and sighed. It was a nice lab, with many Pokeballs at the sides, new PCs gleaming, and a sparkling floor.
Key Word: Was.
"I can't believe that goddamm Silph Co fucked up the Pokerus. They were supposed to make it stronger. More powerful. Not...this..."
"Well, it is more powerful..." offered an assistant.
"Shut the fuck up," Oaks growled. Because of that...that...virus, my, my, my...
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DOUCHIE, WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BECOME A ZOMBIE!!!!?!!!!?!!!!!!"

You start off with 3 Pokemon. Yeah. Only 3. Assume the others became a Zombie for a reason. You can gain normal Pokemon back during the RPG.
No more than 6 Pokemon are allowed on your team.
You CAN get a legendary...if you post 50 insightful non-spammy posts that advance the plot forward. Must also contain proper grammar, spelling, etc. etc. I will decide if a post is insightful or not.
All Pokemon have a chance to become infected.
Steel, Rock, Ghost and Poison types CAN be infected. Steel and Rock are harder to infect because of their tough bodies, but they can be infected if the zombies manage to scratch/bite them up enough to wear them down. Or get their eyes, that's a pretty vulnerable spot. Ghost Pokemon can still be infected, though some of them can become intangible. Let's just say that zombie Pokemon with move like Night Slash or something would be able to infect them. Same for Steel Pokemon and Fire Fang.
Pokemon with special characteristics that would make them immune to the virus may be acceptable. For example, Macargo's internals are hotter than the sun. The virus would die in its body, so it's pretty safe from infection. The rock typing alone doesn't save it, it's only saved because of its special characteristic.
You're not the only survivor, there are survival camps and such. However, there aren't many survivors, and most of the time you'd have to be traveling on your own. The setting isn't a complete wasteland where you'd have to search for days on end without food; but you should preserve your rations as best you can. Just because you're not entirely out of food doesn't mean you can afford a full course meal 3 times a day. Also, there is no law, so not everyone you meet will be friendly. Wanna let your guard down because that nice old man offered you a place to stay at the night? Have fun getting everything you own robbed as you're asleep.
Kanto and Johto regions only, but you can have/get Pokemon from other regions. Just no traveling there, or it will be too complicated.
I'm following the games...to a certain extent. Screw the anime. Pretend all Pokemon have perfect IVs. Nature doesn't affect stats. EVs don't exist. Everything else applys. Heck, now that I think about it, everything is like the manga Pokemon Special.
Oh, and you can turn into a zombie, too.

I don't care about anything else as you express your nature in the actual story.
Feel free to sign up anytime, even if the RPG is going. I won't start until there is a decent amount of people.
