I'm surprised. My ticket was logged around the end of February. It was changed to "Work in Progress" near the beginning of March. Now I received this. o_o.
In case anyone was wondering, my account was hacked with all my gear taken, and this was a ticket for said gear. Hopefully this isn't only intended to get my hopes up.

The irony is my ticket explicitly states (since February) I neither want nor will use Maple Points because I haven't played Maple in almost a year and it was actual prepaid NX from another Nexon game that was stolen from me and there is no earthly way points that can only be used in a game I don't play can compensate me for that loss.

The maple points are just like the free nx item codes, they're just there to get you back/keep you playing.

same thing here, and my ticket is open since 11/11/2009, was kinda shocking, too bad is just another way of automated answer what prolly means the situation will stay the same for a long long time.

Was long ago. I messed around with the new system feature and saw the closing ability, so I shut down all my open tickets, including that one.

I also received this. This kinda sucks since I don't even have Maplestory downloaded anymore.. Coudln't they just give us 10,000 Paypal cash instead..?;;
Also, giving us this 10,000 Maple Points says to us that the tickets will remain a Work in Progress for a long time. Perhaps this is like the "halfway" point or not even..

Same thing for me, however. About 5 hours later they responded saying they are looking into my situation regarding getting my gear back and to be patient!
However, my ticket included a screencap of all my gear about 2 days before getting hacked. Stats included~! I hope that helps

It takes just as long to send out a mass-mail and free NX as it does to fix one person's issue. When you have over five thousand issues remaining which is the more customer friendly solution?

What is ironic is that people always complain about them being computer generated, and when they indeed are made, they also complain about that. Or the oposite while being that. Or anything, actually.

I got the email as well obviously. And the points are indeed useless. I just hope they will restore my account so ill be on the ranks because I'm sure not coming back to play after their lack of action.

Sorry, if my choice is between negligent pomegranate service and the possibility of MAYBE SOMEDAY getting my account back or making Nexon look as bad as possible due to their pomegranatety negligent actions and inability to guarantee me the same results AND treatment that any other respectable company would, I'm going to make them eat a big plate of plantain because that's exactly what they deserve.
