Marvel vs. Capcom 3

Yeah, I was planning on making this thread a few days ago when the info was leaked, but wasn't sure how many people would be interested here on SP. I'm hoping they don't end up making like 150 characters and only 5 of them good to use. Though, I don't really care much for that stuff when it comes to Marvel vs Capcom, I just play as whoever the hell I want regardless if they're characters that get their asses handed to them.

I'm really interested in what characters are going to be showing up this time around. Maybe we'll see Deadpool in here, or Viewtiful Joe (seeing as how he was in Capcom vs Tatsunoko).



EDIT - FUCK YES, SOME MORE CHARACTERS ANNOUNCED? I knew they'd add Dante, and fuck yes at Deadpool addition.

What makes me sad is that when I was younger, I used to be fairly decent with Roll, enough that I would catch people by surprise with my air combos. I downloaded it for my PS3 for nostalgia and I don't know how to do anything with her anymore...

At least I still remember BB Hood and Jin.

Now I'm going to be sad if my favorite characters don't make a return...

I remember my team. It was Captain Command, Felicia, and Sentinel. I always liked robots and Sentinel seemed really tough, Captain Commando just seemed really cool, and Felicia was a Cat Girl enough said. <3

I never got into the srs business that made it as maddening as any Smash tourney game. Too much Stop Having Fun Guys when the game involved nothing but Magneto, Storm, Sentinel, and Cable.

Morrigan, Felicia and Guile were the ones I mostly used, but alike Smashes, I tend to rotate around all characters except the ones I really dislike (Cyclops, Hulk, etc.).

I pray it doesn't get imbalanced like MvC2. Considering they have been working on it since 2008 they can keep all the characters balanced like TvC.

I hope it gets tons of new chars cause wolverine, capt america and others are more of the same.

I need to go back and unlock everyone in TvC... Haven't played in a bit. And I bought MvC2, but I haven't had any friends over, so I haven't played that...

Really excited for this, though. Much more excited than I am for SSFIV, which I won't be buying, considering I spent >a week playing SFIV before I got sick of losing to the computer on Easy.

And Spidey, they've said they'll have ~30+ characters, and considering SSFIV has 35, that's not too many.

Yes. Most definitely Deadpool will be in all my teams. I did choose people that I thought were cool, with no regard to their combos. I did get pretty good with Chun Li besides the massive thighs.

No, i picked her because I just kept on hitting my friends into submission, without them being able to retaliate that often. She's just so fast and combo-y. When i said thighs, I meant she would have been better without the thunder thighs.[/COLOR]

Hell yes. I still play original MvC competitively today. I'm the s'hit with Morrigan, Spiderman, Orange Hulk and Strider Hiryu. I'm just hoping they don't make it sh'itty 3D.
