Last night, this(it's in dutch, so if you want to know what it really says you have to use google translate) happenned. Basically a car crashed into a building, and somehow ended up on the parking lot on the other side of the street, then burned down.
Apparently someone even got launched out of the car during the whole thing, a cyclist was hit too. According to the article/radio quite a few people got wounded and maybe one person died.
That place is like 10 minutes from my house, and I know quite a few of people who live just around the corner there. It happened late but I'm still amazed that I didn't wake up from all the noise the ambulances and such made. I'm not really affected by it myself though, but it's still horrible.
So, does anyone else here have an accident like this, or something bigger, happen nearby? I remember when Loose wrote about someone being shot near his campus(which resulted in him being stuck there), so I'm sure more people have experienced stuff like this.
