Lookin for strategy games

Oh, I was thinking Advance Wars as I clicked the title. Even though the earlier ones are cuter and less stupid, Days of Ruin is far more balanced and fun, but there's less to do.

Fire Emblem 9 and 10 (GCN and Wii) are good. I'm told Fire Emblem for the advance (not Sacred Stones, the other one) is good, but I haven't played it yet. Disgaea gets an honorable mention. It's the least strategy-like strategy game I've ever played.

Oh, Final Fantasy Tactics! They ported it to the PSP. Go pick that up -- it's excellent.

PS3: Valkyria Chronicles. I have heard very good things about this game. Strategy based gameplay mixed with some third person shooting. I highly recommend this game.
DS: Might and Magic Clash of Heroes. Again, very good game. This game is coming to XBLA in the summer I believe if you don't have a DS.

I second Final Fantasy Tactics as well. But there is a DS version (albeit less deep / serious than the original), FF Tactics A2, too.

I tried Advance (the first one, for the advance) for an hour and took it back because of how much worse it is than the original. From what I looked up, A2 isn't much different aside from the natural upgrades that come with being on a better system.

Fire emblem and Valkyria chronicles, ok thx. Which version of Disgaea?

I only own the 3rd Disgaea, but it's really fun to play. But gets kinda complicated when you want to do some of the more high level areas.

As for the final fantasy tactics, I tryed the one for PSP and didn't like it as much as FFT advance, that was a great game!
I second fire emblem, I have it on my wii and it's a really good game.
