Easter is a celebration of new life and it has never been more Easter-y in Maple World than the day that Evan and his new dragon Mir arrived. In celebration of this glorious event, MapleStory is keeping the Easter celebration hop-hop-hopping along!



Event 1: Spot the Bunny: GM Event

Dates: 4/9/10 – 4/16/10



MapleStory GMs love costumes. That’s why they’ve decided that April 9 is the date for the official MapleStory Easter costume party! If you see a MapleStory GM parading around as the Moon Bunny with the GM suitcase, take a screenshot of the funny bunny and submit to the link below.



All valid entries will receive 5,000 Maple Points! Make sure the screen shows the GM and your character ID.

Event 2: Dress Up as an Evan Character

Dates: 4/7/10 – 5/4/10



Why should the GMs have all the fun? Just dress up as Evan or one of the new Evan NPCs (Utah, Gustav, Anna) and join in the Easter costume party to win a fabulous prize!

1st – iPod + 10,000 Maple Points

2nd – 1 Plushie + 1 Key Chain + 10,000 Maple Points

3rd – 1 Key Chain + 10,000 Maple Points

- 50 random, valid entries will receive 5,000 Maple Points.



Simply take a picture of yourself in costume--you the player, not your Maple character--and submit to the link below!

Event 3: Evan Comic

Dates: 4/7/10 – 5/4/10



Life as Evan isn’t just monster battling and serious world saving-- it can also be quite a bit of fun! Why not have a little fun with Evan by submitting your own humorous Evan parody comic?



Just create a comic that parodies Evan’s story you like. Submissions can be in color or black and white, single or multiple panels. The only other rule is that all submissions must be in English and they must be hilarious.



The five most creative stories will win:

- 1st: 40,000 Maple Points

- 2nd: 30,000 Maple Points

- 3rd: 20,000 Maple Points

- 4th: 15,000 Maple Points

- 5th: 10,000 Maple Points

Event 4: Egg Decorating

Dates: 4/7/10 – 5/4/10



Egg decoration can be fun but the rewards are, well, honestly, all you get is a colorful egg. Decorating a dragon egg, though, that offers a wee bit more. All you have to do is decorate an egg to make it look the way you think an Onyx Dragon egg should look. Then submit a photo to the link below.



You can use paint, tape, ribbons, sparkle, or any other material you imagine and don’t feel limited to make the egg look like Mir’s egg!



The three most creative eggs will win:

-1st: 20,000 Maple Points + Kargo plushie

-2nd: 15,000 Maple Points + Orange Mushroom keychain

-3rd: 15,000 Maple Points

Always wondered if anyone ever tried to dress up as a dexless sin for one of those costume events.

Main reason is I can't imagine anyone actually doing it... That didn't make any sense, did it?


Moreso on topic: I suppose since they can't keep on schedule themselves, it's ok for them to just push a holiday back. I suppose the lack of eggs this year may say something about the upcoming cakes and turkeys or lack thereof.
