what's wrong with changing passwords?
#1
I tried logging into my hacked account, and realized my password didn't seem to work, so I tried getting a password reset, but when I went to change the password, nothing would keep it from saying "Invalid Password" when I input the changes in the account info page. I tried pasting the temp password on the "old password" box, leaving it as it was before, but nothing... now, none of my passwords work at all (it doesn't say the account was banned temporarily, which I thought they did for numerous password errors...) so what's going on?

I have seen reports before from ones trying to recover from being hacked having trouble changing passwords. It seems that something the hackers do to gain control screws up the password reset process. Don't know what the fix is.

Don't copy and paste the reset temp pass. I've had that break both new and old passwords.

Re-type it in and see if it helps....though i would reset it to a fresh password first
