Dealing with a threating character

I am unsure about were to place stuff in here so bare with. But anyways I get passed up in El Nath by this person who found out my personal info. Character name Demoiish in the Bera Server, the person ran into me and said my whole name, then says my husband is fat and found out who he is, and also found out my city of location. My husband goes to whisper him and then he threatens to have both our maple accounts remote hacked and now I dont know what to do. I need some advice. Please can anyone help me. This is freaking me out

fake threats. remote hack wouldn't have anything to do with your personal information anyway. the person probably just found out your email and searched you up on google/myspace/facebook or something.

Unless this happened on 4chan you're pretty safe. AFAIK Remote Hacking is patched in GMS, and his threat seems stupid and empty: "hurrr I search your info on google durrrr i be hack you".

I wouldn't worry.

As said, probably not a hacker, just someone who knows how to use the google.

Anyway, either make your pictures private, or black out your login id on cash shop screenshots.

Hacker or not, ignore it. Giving any form of responses back only encourages that person to threaten you more.

Either way, remote hack is done for so don't worry in that department. And that isn't a hacker, that's an idiot. If he seriously could remote hack you, he wouldn't want to give you heads-up so that you have the precautions to employ countermeasures. If he couldn't hack you, he should know better and give a less lol threat.

If you use a unique handle it's fairly easy to find out information that you may have placed elsewhere. Don't worry too much about it.

Just showing that google isn't everything (although you DEFINITELY should not use your game IGNs on your personal sites).

Best way to deal with people who do this is to simply ignore them. i know its hard, but there is absolutly nothing you can say that is going to make anything better.
