Same way the human brain imagines what they look like. Would be interesting to see a real image cut up a bit, then see what this system does to fix it.

I don't think it's fake, Adobe's been working on this for a while now. But I do have my doubts.

You probably have to have a picture that's "about right" and do a lot of touch-ups after-wards. You probably can't see it since of the quality, there will be areas that look unatural and you'd have to go in there manually.

Needless to say though, it does save a lot of time.

P.S. I didn't think the desert demo was so great, the patched area was obviously too dense compared to the other side, very unnatural.

I had a standalone program that did the same thing..more or less.. (though not quite as accurate) until adobe bought it from them (so its no longer available) but playing around with it before I'm not surprised in what they are showing here. I think its it is pretty cool with how far they took it.

That video is a shop. I can tell from some of the pixels and from having seen quite a few shops in my time.

This is insane... imagine all the things you can do with this... and all the abuse with it too...
