On and off soft resetting to find a shiny Groudon and shiny Beldum.

I found them too.

One thing i never understood.

Using and AR to get a shiny legendary is cheating (i agree), but resetting the game to REPLAY AN EXPERIENCE INTENDED TO BE PLAYED ONLY ONCE to get a shiny is legit.

I did something like this to get a black Charizard in FR, only took 284 resets.

yes it does. the way its meant to be is you get 1 shot , if its shiny good job, if its not, oh well. Resetting lets you get as many chances as you want for it.

I guess since I turned off the game when Rayquaza ko'ed himself with struggle I was cheating there too.

Abusing glitches is the same thing as "hacking".

I now happily play them roms on my psp.

i hacked Platinum to get items and wild pokemon encounters.
it was fun for me then as i was able to get a wild Darkrai as my 3rd pokemon.
