Skill point from Reverse equip

Hi thar. I'm actually asking this on a friend's behalf, but when her Reverse overall levelled up for the last time, she got +1 Hamstring (as well as +1 Blind). Here's the catch though: The skill window still shows it at 0 and she can't use the skill. Has anybody else had the skill from a reverse equip as well? I'm just wondering, since I've yet to see anything posted about this. (I had this on one of my swords, but my Brandish was already maxed for a long time so I have no clue if the skill point actually does anything.)

Maybe you need 1 point in it for it to work.

Also it wouldn't do anything to an already maxed skill.

Yeah, you need to have at least one point in the skill before you get the free SP from a reverse equip, and it won't do anything if the skill is at its max level, like 10 or 20 before using Mastery Books, and 30.
