My very first zakum experience. Needless to say, I was SUPER excited (since I was younger and IT'S ZAKUM!).

Well you see, I coughed up 150m back then...which was all I had. I didn't want to risk taking video during the run, so I resorted to taking a SS through SnagIt every few seconds.

I used to do Zakum with Outsiders. Started by Dave, it was a 2nd gen Zakum group intended to get Zakum helms for the members since the 1st gen were selling them for far too much.

The first run... I died pretty early. We didn't get very far.

4th run ~ died on 2nd body (I think this was Outsiders' first kill, may have been the next one)
5th run ~ died on 3rd body
6th run ~ cancelled at arms due to lack of power
7th run ~ cancelled at 2/3 of 3rd body due to lack of power

Finally on the 8th run I got to see it die.

I'm really curious, I never asked how much mesos actually went into bombing zak... I know at 150mil the profits were immense though. How were your outsider runs funded Stereo?

Selling the weapon drops and member donations (about 1-2mil per person most runs, looting priority depended on how many runs you'd attended plus how much you donated), plus paying for your own pots. I think we normally bombed about 25-30mil per CB with 2-3 of them per run.

I almost forgot there was a time when Zak drops weren't worthless xD Especially after the changes to the tables.

Yeah, it used to be the only source for quite a few high price lv.90 weapons (Fairfrozen, Casters I think, Magicodar?) until Leafre came out.

OMG! when CBs were wanted for bossing

this is when runs' profits were humongus and you could become so rich off zak. now you get like 3 mil per run cause you can kill in like 30 minutes.
