Is hacking still a big issue?

Has the PIC worked? Has anybody here or anybody you've known been hacked since they've created a PIC for their account, discluding remote hacking?

The account with my good stuff on it has yet to be hacked, and i'll go to whatever means necessary to keep it that way; but if I don't need to go to extreme cases to keep it safe, I'd rather not.

Oh, the PIC greatly reduced it, but no means eliminated it. There are still hackings around.
