"Loud Thoughts"
#1
[Didn't know whether to put this here or in the speakeasy, seems more psych related, so I put it here]
Jut found this out. By reading a Cracked article (http://www.cracked.com/article/199_5-hor...warning_p2)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auditory_hallucinations
I've been hearing what could be called "Loud Thoughts" all my life whenever it was quiet and I was about to go to sleep. I never knew it was a hallucination though. I haven't really thought about it that much because I considered it to be a 'loud thought' or my brain letting me hear a very short ( >1 sec) piece of dialogue. I need to pay more attention because I'm pretty sure I still have these hallucinations, i just stopped caring after a while.

Anybody else have/had this?

....never had this. Sometimes I imagine I think my mom is calling me, but that can be just....paranoia?

I get that name one frequently, other than that nothing odd has happened though apparently I went Sleep walking around the house, about umm 8 years ago now. :f6:

Slightly offtopic...

That link is interesting.
- Sleep Paralysis - I've had once or twice. It felt like somebody was pinning me down and I could see them doing so Tongue
- Exploding Head Syndrome - I never knew there was a name for this! I've definitly had this at least a few times. Which is strange considering it's quite rare, and I'm well under 50 (Age group it most commonly occurs in). It's a bit scary at the time, I'm nearly asleep then all of a sudden something weird happens (It's not just sound, there's also a little motion) and next thing I'm fully awake and my heart is racing. I think it tends to happen more when I'm really stressed out, though not too sure.

My ears are constantly ringing from the sound of my PC running and general daily life outside. I have never heard anything like these auditory hallucinations. Was a period of time where I used to experience sleep paralysis though. Seems to have stopped on its own. No idea what caused it.

I had a case exploding head syndrome not too long ago. It was quite weird, but nothing too major.
