MapleStory Crashed?

Once I type in my ID and password, my game crashes just before the server's screen and then shows an error message saying (end of the file reached) or something. Is this just me?

Try reinstalling, I guess... Didn't try it myself, though.

I wish Windia would crash so that I could actually log in again, quick everyone, flood Windia to crash that too!

Yeah, only Scania is affected by this. Since the server connects you to the last server you logged into, people on Scania cannot even login because once Scnaia is selected, they will get Error code 38, blah blah blah...

Watch them fix this by buying new/better servers for Scania, instead of doing something about the 10k concurrent users.

Fixed that for you. I've rarely had to deal with server lag before their "upgrades" a few months ago. Even during 2x events I was fine. That's not the case anymore. Their "upgrades" seemed to have been a big step back.

I second this. All this server lag seems to have started after they claimed "update" to the game servers. I'd be just normal for Nexon NA if they bought used ones.

Meh. It appears the weekend Scania crashes are back. Nothing new IMO.

Scania crashing? Nothing too new; happens every here and there. Now global server crashes? That'd mean Nexon is screwing up.

Can we have channel 20 back now? o_o Why they took that out in Scania is beyond me. If they can take away channels, they can add some.

my guildie has a problem after the crash. the character she was on when the server crashed can't login anymore. after she enters the pic and tries to enter, she gets black screen then maple crashes and says "server disconnected"

this only happens to the one char that was on during the crash, her other chars can login fine (same account).

anyone know how to solve this problem ;[ she is very sad...

Not just scania having problems. I can attest to windia as well. Some times on random maps, everybody on the map will experience large amounts of lag. Also , channel 1 has been crashing alot. Many people are glad about this though, because people without D/C hacks can actually get FM1-6 spots.

I think ch 1 has crashed about 6 times in the last week.

People in Windia are trying to duplicate items through the channel 1 crashes, as in go to channel 1, trade item to friend who goes to a different channel, smega for people to come to channel 1 so that the channel will crash, log back in with the item still in inventory. Merchants are mass smegaing people coaxing them into channel 1 right now >_>
