Windows 8
#1
Quote:If you had been impressed of how user-friendly and comprehensive Windows 7 is, wait until you have installed the Windows 8 in your personal computer! It is the newest operating system from Microsoft and since they have just actually launched the Windows 7 in 2009, you might start wondering what was wrong with the 7th version? Nothing was wrong, it is just that the company is trying to figure out the most convenient and comprehensive operating system to match the fast paced technology, as well as the demands of its users.

Still, there are so many speculations going around the informational technology world. Rumors have it that a new operating system is also in the making, while some are looking forward to another. What is clear is that Microsoft is unveiling the Windows 8 soon and the Mobile Windows 7 during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. A Mobile Windows 7 press conference on February 15 will be hosted by CEO Steve Ballmer at exactly 9 AM ET.

I'd rather they fix the errors in win7 before working on 8. But I BSOD on a weekly basis, so maybe I'm just mad.

I think you're just mad. Post the BSOD in the Tech Support or something.

Already? I was just beginning to enjoy Windows 7.
At least make it a free upgrade from 7. Or a Service Pack.

Fake. An official Microsoft spokesman said they're gonna start focusing on Windows 8 by June 2010. Far from now, way too far to actually have a working build to demo. Also, from a leaked SS from MS Brazil, the release date for Windows 8 is late 2012. (the image in Russt's post)

If you google this bit of news, it shows that NO other sites have it confirmed, and a new Windows version is pretty big news.

Fix your hardware, instead of blaming it on Windows. Frequent BSOD's like that are probably corrupt RAM, or something of the like. Most of the time, what causes Windows to crash is the hardware manufacturer's crap, instead of the OS itself.
