Had a long conversation with my friend, John, the other night. He's like in his early 30's, anyways.. he started telling me about how it's better to admit one's flaws, and not hide any skeletons. His reasoning was "Ok, so once you tear yourself down to the point of which there's nothing left. What else can people do to you, ya know? Ok, so you revealed everything. It can't be worse."
Which made sense to me, then brings me to this topic. What kind of person are you? Ex: Are you really laidback? Intuitive? What are your flaws? Hell, I'll list up a ton of my own flaws that I'm aware of.
Quote:The good:
-Laidback (can be debated)
-Caring
-Intuitive
The bad: (get ready for this sh't. This is serious)
-Cocky/arrogant
-Has an overinflated ego
-Lazy
-Puts off work aside too much
-Terrible temper when provoked
-Dual personalities (is terrible when people expect a certain aspect of me, and the other side comes out)
-Spends too much money
-would be more successful in life if I tried harder
-once stopped talking to someone for days because she pissed me off THAT much
-etc (I'll come up with more for later)
srsthrad. If you don't get it, don't post. Really. I don't want to see spam posts.
-Pessimistic
-Lazy
-Procrastinator
-Easily lose motivation
-Not very confident
-Easily depressed (was on antidepressants at one point)
-Shy
-Impulsive shopper
-Easily distracted; can't study near anything electronic =x
-I wear my heart on my sleeve/shoulders
-Jump to conclusions
-Complain too much
-Can be a pushover
Pros:
-Relatively nice; believe it or not I was voted nicest student in high school
-Neat, organized
-Respectful (usually)
-Punctual, I hate when people are not on time...
-Very hard working... at work
I think participating in this thread is a bad idea. Not that I think the OP means badly, and the concept is definitely not bad, but there are some serious assholes on this site, and being honest in this thread can be used against you by any one of them. Reflection such as this is best in private and amongst good friends and family, but not with randoms.

I'm lazy and I'm one of those "last word" guys when it comes to arguments and the like. I guess that covers most of it. I'm a pretty swell guy.

If you were a "serious pimento", would you base your dickery off of what they thought of themselves, or what you thought of them?

The difference is that after you reflect amongst your family and good friends, they will look at you differently and thus destroy the point of such reflections.

Well, to my great misfortune I've been following politics for years. If there are greater assholes in this world than politicians, then I surely do not know of them. They will use their own "opinions" to attack everything you say while making themselves look good. However, if you slip up and let something bad out about yourself, they will make the most out of that. You might be thinking that I am talking about American politicians, but the really corrupt and dangerous ones are in China and Iran and $hitholes like that, and there what I am saying is even more true. So, yes, the serious assholes will use your words against you. What is more devastating than a person admitting they are X and Y? You can take X and Y and build Z off of that, which the person never said, but that part you can extrapolate quite easily.
I don't really mind people knowing this about me. Hang out with me for a while and you can probably figure most of what I posted earlier.
The one thing I won't accept is certain people making up things about me and telling everybody about it which happened before here... I will never forgive people like that. So I do keep grudges sometimes...
Good:
When motivated, does well
Learns quickly
sense of humor
tends to not hold grudges
Bad:
Lazy
UNLESS highly motivated, dun do pomegranate
short temper
immature
hyper w/ comfortable
sarcastic
socially isolated
tendency to blame others
when it comes right down to it, cheats, scams, etc. to win/get it done
ignores parents (ie, doesn't shovel the drive way, clean bathroom, etc. See first two)
procrastination
complains a lot
easily distracted
little self control
socially awkward/ignorant (me trying to hold a conversation... xD)
rarely initiates anything
quiet
Sure I can think of more. YEY FOR SHARING W/ ONLINE PEDOS.
a closeted papaya wanna be asian that lives alone and supports himself, besides leeching money from father, and plays video games all day. I've done a lot of things you wouldn't expect from me, no one would. I come across as a nice guy, however I'll be the first to talk about you behind your back if you do so to me. I'm disorganized, and don't have my priorities straight. I'm a bitchy teen and I don't do anything about it. I dislike white people, mainly white guys in my area, just because they are too much of dicks and don't know how to be "nice." I don't care what people care about, I'm not concerned with what's going on in their life. I'm selfish and a irresponsible, except when it comes to school. However, even though I actually try in school my grades don't serve me justice. I guess I'm stupid, must be from the drugs that ran through me and my siblings blood from birth.
I really love my friends. I really love Throes, Kurtle, Bombsaway, and whoever else I add to my buddy list. I really love them for reasons I can't love other people. Hey! I really like you super cute girl from my Calculus class who is now working for Goldman Sachs. I wanted to be the one who nuzzles you nose to nose and do all that cheesy romantic crap. Like candle lit dinners and coming home after a crappy day at work, only to see you and realize that it's worth it to put everything into my everyday work. But you had to have a boyfriend! :< What's up with that! :< ! You know who I also love? I really love my parents. They are awesome. AWESOME. They are so awesome adjectives and alliteration don't give them justice to how cool they are in my book! Hey people at the hospital! I'm sorry that you're sick and miserable! It really sucks! I feel really bad for you and want to hug you. But I can't! So I'll get you warm blankets and hot chocolate. PLEASE FEEL BETTER. I love you guys
After seeing this thread, and thinking about it for a while, here's what I came up with:
Pros:
Creative (Musically)
Calm/Composed/Hard to piss off
Good with managing money
Skilled at procrastinating
Time efficient (on average, 1000 words/hour when writing papers, 100 words/minute when editing)
Performs/peaks well under pressure
Almost photographic memory (once did the first 100 digits of pi in 15 minutes)
strategic/situational/economical
willing to listen and talk with people who need it
forgiving/understanding
honest
quick learner
determined, to the extent of being stubborn
Cons:
Uncreative (everything else)
disorganized
Procrastinator
easily side-tracked
doesnt care about self-help or personal needs
disorganized
inconsistent/impulsive (every term, there's always ONE assignment in EACH course that I get in the 60's on, and everything else is in the 80's/90's)
doesnt follow rules
tends to disagree with authorities
loves attention
blunt/brutally honest
constantly afraid that Im deceiving myself
poor at making decisions
shows off
dont know when to give up
My two lists are long, though pretty even. Cons are things that I am aware of and constantly working on fixing. In fact, many of the positives are at the same time negatives >_<
To be honest. This is a forum. People can talk behind my back for all I care. They're not my irl-friends. Yeah, I said it. I sound like a plantain typing this, but it's not like relatively close family members. Though there are a few members on this forum I contact on MSN, or by other means.. those people are a different case. But I could care less about everyone else's thoughts. They can bash me all they want. -shrug- Reason I've let people know so much about me up to this point is that I really don't .. care. I haven't disclosed anything overly personal.

More Cons than Pros makes people look emo and insecure.
More Pros than cons make them look like arrogant fucktards.
People prefer to be emo over a fucktard.

Just my theory.
It appears that your theory is based on the assumption that people actually care about how they are perceived on the internet. But it has truth and merit to it. +1. Thank you for sharing.
