I can't believe this...I got hacked..

Okay so I had 277,097 NX EXACTLY from MTS merching which I've been saving up to use in Poptag. Now they've finally released some items, and permanent at that so I log in to see 0 NX balance on my Poptag account. I check my Maplestory transaction log and it also says 0.

I check my NX Usage tab and wtp is this?! It says I purchased an item from the MTS costing exactly 277,097 NX. So I check my Maplestory account which I haven't logged on for about 3 weeks. Low and behold, it said I purchased a sky blue wooden chair for 277,097. My 4 cilbis, rat mouth, 500m, and various other items are gone. I'm just in such disbelief right now, and I can't believe I got hacked.

I never released my information, I never downloaded any suspicious things, or clicked weird links. Also I haven't logged on for 3 weeks, so how is this possible? I lost 3b of stuff that I've played over 3 years to get and it's all gone, and I've never been hacked in my life before and this..I just can't believe this.

Any ideas what to do? The hacker left a 10 Atk panlid and yellow bandana on my account.

When did they get you? My hunter got cleaned out on the 23rd Jan, thats the date when they purchased stuff in MTS.

do you know how much a 10 atk panlid would sell for? im willing to sell it cheap in the MTS.

Yeh same thing happened to me on another game. Had never before been hacked then all of a sudden an account that I hadn't logged into for weeks gets stripped. Makes no sense to me because even if you managed to get a keylogger on your computer, you still need to login to the account for them to keylog you.

This type of stuff has been happening a LOT with quite a few games. Few weeks back I heard about one of the weirdest account hackings I have ever heard of. This dude had an account with a pay to play game and he had canceled his subscription and the time had run out, making the account inactive and therefore impossible to be logged into, yet somehow some hacker still managed to get into his account and steal his stuff. The dude proved that his account had been inactive with even a CM from the game company confirming what he said. Something like that happening has to be either internal security problems or rogue staff and I am more likely to believe rogue staff.

You've inspired me to stay afk in mts on a mule until the patch comes and not give it a rest tonight either even though there's a patch in an hour and something. I'm hoping the PIC isn't stored in the same place as the ID/PW so that we'd finally be safe and my laptop can takea break.

I feel for you, I almost tossed my pc out the window when I got hacked, I logged on and saw 4.1m NX missing and it said I bought a blue potion for 4.1m NX. send nexon a pic and explained how its illogical,etc.

got no reply, not even an automated one. the only items the hacker left me were 6 sky skis, 2 bosshunter gi's, 400 black crystals and 2000 steel plates. then a week later ( with info completley changed ) ( mind you my brother works at RSA, I have no keyloggers/virus's/trojans etc on my PC ) the crystals and plates just dissapeared along with 200m I made back.
