White Knight Chronicle

I was finally going to get around to buying Eternal Sonata out of boredom today but found out no one in the immediate region has it in stock. Then I found out this just came out. It's made by the same people who made Dark Cloud 1/2 and Rogue Galaxy and apparently has a lot of the same elements (like building stuff!) so I'm pretty interested. Rogue Galaxy had an overwhelmingly horrible story and all of these games suffer from tediously long maze-like maps but I still look back on them fondly.

Anyway, anyone played it yet? Anyone intend to get it? I'll probably post a blog-review about it once I'm into it so if you're looking for a (very cynical) review then be sure to check it out.

Ive been dieing for this to come out since i heard about it. From what ive heard, theres a feature similar to Dark Clouds where you can build your own town up. Im not too sure about how the game plays out, since you are not an actual "main character" but a character that tags along with the main characters.

Idk, it looks great and the story seems good, but its also one of those games you really need to try before making full assumptions about it.
