Modded Win XP SP3.

Yup. Until the day apps stop working and having compatibility with XP, I'm sticking with this.

I'll probably have to stick with XP even after that. My dad is never going to buy me a new computer since this one was a "disaster."

Why would you want two of the same operating system on one machine?

not the same. windows 7 is everything vista was supposed to be and more. it's microsoft's best os to date, in my opinion. a better question would be, why would he want to keep vista? Rolleyes

i use windows 7 professional myself. got it from my school for $30. Biggrin

Seven at home.

XP/Leopard at school, depending on what classroom it is.

It seems you completely misunderstood what i said. (or forgotten that i've been running 7 for at least 5 months now)

In terms of getting s'hit to work, 7 is exactly the same or better than vista, so what's the point in having both?

i think you're the one that misunderstood, bub.

if 7 and vista were exactly the same, how come no one really adopted vista but 7 is rapidly growing in market share?

Holy s'hit.

I said exactly the same in TERMS OF GETTING THINGS TO WORK. WHY THE F'UCK WOULD YOU WASTE HDD SPACE ON VISTA WHEN YOU HAVE 7 ON THE SAME MACHINE. I KNOW 7 IS BETTER THAN VISTA.

I use 7 Pro, courtesy of my school. I've got an Ubuntu disc around here somewhere, but I've never used it to be honest.
