I use windows 7 and ubuntu, not that I like ubuntu but it's a requirement for my cs course.

I'll probably have to stick with XP even after that. My dad is never going to buy me a new computer since this one was a "disaster."

not the same. windows 7 is everything vista was supposed to be and more. it's microsoft's best os to date, in my opinion. a better question would be, why would he want to keep vista?

Vista on my desktop. Didn't think about voting for XP, since I use it at school, but oh well.

I said exactly the same in TERMS OF GETTING THINGS TO WORK. WHY THE F'UCK WOULD YOU WASTE HDD SPACE ON VISTA WHEN YOU HAVE 7 ON THE SAME MACHINE. I KNOW 7 IS BETTER THAN VISTA.

I use 7 Pro, courtesy of my school. I've got an Ubuntu disc around here somewhere, but I've never used it to be honest.
