Well, more like a "Kenthian" video that shows how a NL should be played. Like learning how to back/reverse-Flash Jump to avoid attacks, leaping over bosses with proper timing, and showing ways to train at certain monsters. Instead of the usual:
Orbis monsters -> Ludi monsters -> Leafre monsters -> Time Temple monsters -> Zakum -> moar bosses -> credits
^Those videos gets really boring. So I was thinking about doing videos showing how to train at Squids & Gobies, like the old days. Demonstrating how to 'snipe' at Newties without consuming too many potions, that sort of sh't.
As for music selections, thinking about using the following songs, and please give me honest criticism. I don't expect everyone to be like "AW YEAH, FCKING THUMBS UP" and agree with me, but the typical NL/Hermit videos are sorta boring. I wanted to use a mixed selection of songs and types, going from... Electronica and slowly progress to Japanese-Rock, for example.
Electronica song I'm using <"Unholy Wars"> :

Japanese-rock song I'm using <"Summer Love" by SID> :

Reasons for selections:
Electronica-song signifies power and raw-damage, that's when I'll show some minor damage here and there. I'll also demonstrate how to climb or avoid certain monsters here and there, as well as learning to FJ certain ways. >_>
Japanese-rock song signifies other random crap that I'll eventually throw in there that will somehow fit the video, I haven't gotten that far yet. I'll be working on the video hopefully sometime around this Summer if things goes as planned, depending on how busy I'll be with my jobs.
Thanks for criticisms!

If you really want your NL video to stand apart from all of the others, drop your taste in music entirely and go for something that you would never see yourself training to/listening to. Wanna see a real MMV?

Just look at that. God damn. You know what the average Mapler would think when they feast their eyes upon a video like this? "lol look at dis lil shadower nub tryin to act all hard with that instrumental playin lil fegget", but then they see this level 160 Shadower annihilate the fu ck out of that rock mass and they sit there staring in awe. It's like watching the trailer to a major motion picture. He did it. He killed Zakum.
The music means everything. If the music wasn't playing in the backround, I wouldn't like the video at all. It's just be another Zakum solo that nobody would care to watch. To make a successful MMV, you gotta play is safe like my bro CK and have an instrumental playing throughout your entire video. Why would anyone want to watch your video if they hate listening to a female singer that they can't even understand? Or even an english male singer? Everybody's so picky about the way a vocalist sounds, the only way to play it safe is to go full instrumental.
Here's what I'm talking about. I've kept this song to myself for years, and plan on using it in the MMV I'll eventually create. Being the nice guy I am, I'll share it with you.
Listen to the entire song, and just imagine a MMV playing along with it. It fits every single Maple situation I can think of. It has it all. The light, the heavy, the HARDCORE. What does that electronica song have to it other than the same keyboard and guitar playing little wimpy solos with each other for an entire five minutes?
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

Respect++ for posting that. You make it seem like a secret though. lol Only tasteless f'aggots don't know about Machinae's Sidology series. Trinity is one of their best songs ever, to boot.
And surprisingly, Khoi's taste in music isn't bad at all. You shouldn't tell him to drop everything. That Unholy Wars song is awesome. Not on the scale of Trinity, but it's still good stuff. I'd enjoy watching an MS video with it playing. I'm pretty easy. As long as the song isn't an abused-to-hell one or rap/scream garbage, I'll probably enjoy it.

I actually was thinking of using Machinae Supremacy songs, ACTUALLY. But the thing with that is, I figured YT would remove the song since Machinae is actually well-known on YT. Their videos are everywhere. So I'm sure the song would have a higher chance of being taken off. You put a VG song on there, and most likely, no one's going to give a damn. Same for a LOLj-rock song.
@Jackk: I think it's pretty even, except I've constantly procrastinated about it since I work a lot, and I get unmotivated as time goes on, so I never record anything.
Also, to clarify on something. It's either going to be Unholy Wars, or this:

Out of my 2320943092942 threads here about Tales, I'm sure you guys know I like Tales, right? Actually, no, 'like' is an understatement. Tales music is literally the KEY to my videos, if edited in properly.

I would give you some background music suggestions, but my tastes are not to the liking of... most of the world. Take inspiration from Loose's Elder Wraith video, the music was what made me watch it =]

Seen that already, actually.
