Hey again lovelies <3.
Just piping in after vacation to ask if any hardcore KMS Evans have hit 160+ yet. I'm itching to see max Blaze DPS, especially with SE, as well as how they perform at major bosses, both solo and with groups.
Thanks in advance if you know of any videos!

I just checked YouTube last night. There are no level 160+ Evan videos.

There are some on insoya of a level 160 Evan, but those take ages to load. None of them show Blaze but they show Dark Fog and Soul Stone.

Do you have to wait till level 160 to get Dark Fog?

Devil, that video is a KMST video. I think FrozNite is looking for a video of a 160+ Evan on the official servers, in which they would have better equips and such.
I don't think there's a 160+ Evan yet, but then again, I can't navigate through the KMS site even if my life depended on it.

There's a level 178 Evan in Culverin. There were some images posted on the EF forums.

If we get the 30 day version the cost is almost surely worth it. If we get the version SEA got, with like 1 day for 10k+ something NX, not so much fun.

I think it's time this thread gets bumped up...there has to be a high level Evan out there that can make or has made a video already...even if it's not 160+ if 130+ I'd love to see illusion/flame wheel damage with actual gear

You asked as a I was DaumTVing for the exact things so here you go, albeit a little pretty slow.
While it loads allow me to give you the stats of this character that will not be revealed until 3:02, the end:
Level 153, M.ATT appears to be 1181 with INT 958 (793+165), however what I found impressive was the 120 LUK as (4+ 116)
I know many of you godly A/M, Bishop on these boards can remark at theoretical LUKless superquiping, but as a simply funded A/M I found that astounding.
Other damage observations include (should you not care to wait):
I was disappointed though since I wanted to see some Lilynouch bossing action but damage reflect passes through MG, right?
Here is some Soul Stone footage pilfered from the Evan skills thread (more molasses downloading):
Bribery Wrote:Anyways, I saw some interesting videos about Soul Stone on Insoya. It's basically Wheel of Destiny in the form of a skill. It can even revive the user if it gets selected by the buff, meaning that Evans can revive themselves .
Links to videos (these take forever to load)
Evan using Soul Stone on self.
Evan using Soul Stone on party member.
There is one more video of a 160 with Dark Fog here, however I don't really feel like watching it again so no recap for you, also the playlist has a few lower level videos if you want to experience training. If I remember correctly, it (the training, but also the videos) seemed slow and I don't like having to charge skills, it makes it feel that much slower.
I changed my mind since it had loaded by the time I was done grabbing the Soul Stone videos and I am glad that I did, although this individual chose not to reveal their stats I can assume that they are stronger or have more points in skills since the damage increase is more than what I would expect from 7 levels of INT. Anyhow observations include:
Having put those numbers down and :f6: for a few seconds, could this be KMST and unchanged rings because the numbers don't seem to add up when compared with the other videos? I am no numbers expert though and I don't know how damage scales nor do I have the time at the moment to bring up the damage formula and work it out.

The Dark Fog video is indeed with the KMST unchanged rings (at least that's what I understood from the google translation), which is why the criticals are double the regular hits (+50% damage from Critical Magic and +50% damage from the ring).
Evans are quite powerful as you can see in those videos. Considering that KMS doesn't have Ewands, we can expect Evans to be much stronger here since Blaze, Earthquake, and Flame Wheel are all fire element. (This also explains why no KMS Evan is in a rush to max Blaze, since it's weaker than Illusion without an Ewand). Bossing wise, Evans have a very useful party buff, but being a Magician means their damage is limited by the lolmatk formula.
Anyways, since I asked in the Evan Skill thread and no one answered, I'll ask here. How much does Ghost Lettering increase damage by? Does it only boost Evan's damage (Like Bullseye does for Corsairs) or does it boost the damage of anyone that attacks the cursed monster? (plzplz be the latter)

I wonder what's gonna be Evans performance with an Elemental Wand/ Staff. They were made so they strength would be above average with regular weapons, now imagine it with that 25% boost.

A five-second poison-style drain on HP would be silly unless it reduced at some massive percent per second so I don't think that it would do that. Someone find the KMST Dragon Wizard (or something) PQ video, if I remember correctly a (prepatch?) Ghost Lettering is used there.
Still, to put some more cents in, I still when reviewing both Ghost Lettering and Killing Wing (the Evan Homing/Bullseye). First of all, if Killing Wing is going to target a monster specifically, I'd like an increase in attack too, so something along the lines of a Ghost Killing Wing Lettering or just a percent or critical increase. Secondly, five seconds? What is that about, that's 2~3 Illusion and 3~4 Blaze and the attack itself or at least the observed animation is already pretty slow so that might eat more time.
Perhaps I'm being greedy though, rereading the text above it seems I want a magical Corsair with Killing Wing and Illusion without having to take the balance of GL-Ill.-Ill.-GL...chaining like a magical Buccaneer. Nonetheless, agreed, GL should make everyone's attack stronger.

If Ghost Lettering does increase everyone's attack then it would definitely be worth chaining it to Illusion/Blaze. It would also make Evans more useful at bosses besides being a Magical Resistance mule.
Fiel's skill tables are outdated and I don't understand what the "x value -5" is supposed to mean with Ghost Lettering.

New video time! Although this video does not provide anything drastically new (level one Blaze and Dark Fog are showcased), I needed an excuse to describe a revelation that I should not have overlooked on my analysis of skills. Though many probably had already realized this, the Evan's Slow is not a cast per use skill like the A/M's Slow. In the skills table in the other thread its placement in the "Misc." section made me think it worked like that but it is a buff that works on a percentage. This would probably explain the reason for the short (time) effect of the buff that I originally rolled my eyes at.
Back to the video, I noticed that at ~1:32 onward as the character is attempting to Blaze the Skelesaurus, the Skelesaurus' buff prevented the Blaze from hitting it, range problem, simultaneous skill problem? I do not know what happening here or can I remember as an I/L the same happening to my CL, so what to you think?

Looks like Skeles are Dark resistant. Does anyone have a list of what is dark weak/resistant? Did they just make whatever was holy weak dark resistant and vice versa?
Blaze is really impressive too. Hard to believe it was only level 1 in that video.
EDIT: I also noticed he had 5 SP after getting 10th mastery. Do new mastery levels give additional SP when you get them?
