I'm quite disappointed in myself.

Eh, to begin I made an Aran about two times now.

First time got to 40.
-Deleted due to SP ruined-

Second time got to 50

Eek

Now the second's problem is the AP.
I don't know what the hell was wrong with me but I got my base dex to 90, and that's REALLY bad. >_>;

Now I'm debating if I should delete it.

---Things that bug me not to-----

1. NX hair/color/eyes ( I N E V E R GET NX.) I don't want the character where I changed his look.
2. ANNOYING ARAN QUESTS. >:

-----------------------------------------

Goggleemoticon

So now I'm pretty much pissed off for the time being.

Any advice? :l

EDIT: I am poor. (22m). My Aran is my NEW main. I am in Windia.

Nah. Let's not take this topic into a different direction.

'Kay, thanks.

If it really bothers you, and you can see that unhappiness increasing as you go farther, then you should delete it. It's much better to do so sooner rather than later. I think having to deal with some quests another time is better than long-term disappointment.

Delete it and try one more time. Or keep trying until you're satisfied! If it's going to be your main, you should do it in a way that makes you happy.

Thank you. I feel somewhat better now. But you see, the issue is the look of my character as well. I JUST bought $20 of NX.
And, I don't ever get NX. If I delete the current character, I would have just disposed $20 in the trash.

That REALLY irritates me. >_>

the NX should stay to the account, unless they're items and looks won't stay with you. and 86 resets cost a lot. Getting to level 50 won't take more than a week. $20 is worth feeling good about your character/damage

If I had already spent money on a character, I probably wouldn't delete it either. Perhaps the best option would be to get used to the 90 DEX (for now, at least). It's not the end of the world. You will certainly be quite weaker, but not in a crippling way. Have you considered doing some AP resetting later? Since you almost never get NX, that's probably not the best idea. That option is always out there, though.

Really, you're looking at these choices:

A) Keep going and find ways to be happy with your 90 DEX.
B) Keep going and eventually reset your DEX to desire amount with AP Resets.
C) Delete character, cut your $20 loss and do everything the way that makes you most happy from the get-go.

What matters most to you? If you can learn to deal with or even be proud of your high DEX, then that's definitely the cheapest and easiest option. Otherwise, you're going to have to spend some more time and money to be satisfied. Being most satisfied with your character is important in an RPG. It's not fun always having regrets when you reach a high level.

It's not really that I feel good about the damage, and whatnot.
It's that I'm probably not going to get another opportunity to get NX again.

That is simply the only thing that's stopping me right now.

NX can aways be obtained from the MTS. As you do quests on your characters you can sell scrolls and stuff in the MTS.

Ah. Yes, now I'm really getting the urge to just start over. -Thinks-

It feels quite complex even though it's really not.

Start over! You'll be level 30 within the first 4 hours MAX. Then just chill and make use of the 2x events.

Under level 30
Make sure you train at the desert and DO those mushroom kingdom quests (the ones that are in Ariant)!

My Dark Knight had 90 base dex (back when that was the norm ) and It eventually led me to to quitin the character and makings tons of other characters since making a new drk would take ages even thogh its my favourite class.
it really irritated me that I was doing thousands of less damage with the equips I had ... more or less balancing my damage to be average instead of what It shld have been.

If I were you, I' keep the aran and make another one.

My level 44 Aran already has 90 Base DEX. I like it that way, makes it easier to hit stuff. I don't really care about doing much damage, anyways. So, as long as the little number next to my character's name is increasing, it's all good.

I also plan on adding more DEX to it.

Wait, while I support the regular DEX cause... 90 is enough dude. The Karstan does the rest. Hell, the zhelm does the rest.

with the equips available these days, you shouldn't be making a warrior with any dex.

I don't see why. I started in Bellocan with no funds, and I didn't even think about transfering my mesos or my equips from my crusader in Bera... I just raised the DEX to 40 and for now I'm pretty cool. I only spend mesos in pots Heart

If you play the character enough, eventually you will be able to upgrade your gear. Nothing wrong with adding dex, it's up to the player. But I just think if you start out with dex, and then obtain enough funds to not need any then you're stuck with those dex and have to spend the money to reset. I'd just rather work around the acc problem at lower levels.

Alright, I've decided to remake my character.
However, I don't know how it's going to be.
Dexless? Low dex? Or just regular?
Any equips to get in mind?
If any of the above, what should I cap my base dex at?

I only have 22m. >_>

Any advice?

Advice? Don't go over 19 (minus whatever level Blessing you have) because it's superflous and useless.
