The Tale of Two Retards

Yes, that is the entire King Pepe set. And yes, that is 204 defeated King Pepes. My bro wanted the entire set. I have no idea why I decided to actually help him. He didn't get the Pole Arm until the 204th one we killed. I kid you not. He got several copies of each weapon and armor piece for both genders before that. Dropped most of them... Let's not forget about the 300 some Warrior Potions, too!

Besides a few defense scrolls, the only noteworthy drop we managed to find was a 60% Overall DEX from Gray Yeti 'n' King Pepe. I guess that made it all worth it. NOT.

Gonna go kill myself now. Anyone else as stupid as we are? Share stories of KING PEPE. Or just laugh at us.

Oh yeah, and that is a White Belt he's wearing. We both are. That's another retarded thing we did. Earned White Belts by duoing Dojo at level 36. The fun part? We couldn't hit Centipede, so we just looped the first four bosses over and over. JOY.

Took it easy and only did like 20 and then 50 more. We did over 130 tonight. ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY. We were at it for three hours, nearly NON-STOP.

Now I'm going to go train for 6 hours. And you know what's messed up?

204 King Pepe's and not a single card? What the s'hit. I now hate Mushroom Castle more than before.

No kidding. Mushroom Castle has to be the biggest SCREW YOU to card collectors ever created. It looks like they gave the three different Yeti and King Pepes the same drop rate as normal mobs/area bosses (which could not be more retarded, considering the low level cap). To make matters worse, the Gray one only challenges you at a 10% (give or take) rate.

Someone would have to start as soon as possible and be mentally retarded to trying collecting all three cards. It would take a LUNATIC to even attempt collecting all five of each.

I got the gray one twice in a row before fighting the white one.

Sure it's insane to try to collect 5 of each monster card, but who does that anyway? It's not even possible in the first place. These are the people who go for 110% clear rates on RPGs. Personally I'd rather grind to 200. Mushroom Kingdom is actually a pretty awesome place for people to enter at 30 and gain some levels; I thought it was very well designed.

Mushroom Castle is awesome. I, too, thought it was designed very well. Lots of fun quests, maps and even the silly cliche story. We both enjoyed it. However, the place should not have any monster cards. Whoever thought of putting them in there needs to be killed.

I still have hopes to see the "Ice Land" King pepe comes from as a new map, WITHOUT LEVEL RESTRICTIONS (and possibly an exiled prime minister in there), and add the mushrooms, pigs near henesys.

Speaking of the Prime Minister, of all the times I fought his ass, he never dropped any of the items the Monster Book claimed he dropped. But then again I only killed him 15 times xD
