Adding subclass specific quests that also increase certain factors of certain skills.

When a skill becomes (+), it receives a bronze star next to its name.
When a skill becomes (++), it receives a silver star next to its name.
When a skill becomes (+++), it receives a gold star next to its name.
Basically each is an "EX" level of sorts.
1st Job

Advanced Swordplay Training (6 quests) - Lv20 Power Strike & Lv20 Slash Blast, Lv30 Warrior.
When quests completed, Power Strike and Slash Blast are upgraded to Lv20(+).
Power Strike 260% -> 300% damage / Slash Blast 130% -> 150% damage

Archer 1st job general:

 Spoiler

Advanced Archery Training (6 quests) Lv20 Arrow Blow OR Lv20 Double Shot & Lv20 Critical Shot, Lv30 Archer.
When quests completed, either maxed attack skill and critical are upgraded to Lv20(+).
Critical Shot 40% -> 45% success rate / Arrow Blow 260% -> 300% damage / Double Shot 130% x2 -> 150% x2 damage.

Magician 1st job general:

Advanced Sorcery Training (6 quests) Lv20 Magic Claw, Lv30 Magician.
When quests completed, magic claw is upgraded to Lv20(+)
Magic Claw 40 BA x 2 60% Mastery -> 50 BA x 2 80% Mastery

Thief 1st job general:

Advanced Thievery Training (6 quests) Lv20 Double Stab, Lv30 Bandit.
When quests completed, Double Stab upgraded to Lv20(+)
Double Stab 130% x 2 -> 150% x 2 damage

Advanced Swashbuckling Training (6 quests) Lv20 Double Fire or Lv20 Straight Punch, Lv30 Pirate.
When quests completed, either attack skill upgraded to Lv20(+)

Fighter:

Ambitions of the Fighter(6 quests) Lv20 Power Strike & Lv20 Slash Blast, Lv30 Fighter.
When quests completed, Power Strike and Slash Blast are upgraded to Lv20(++)
Power Strike 300% -> 305% (+ 10% if wielding a Sword or Axe).
Slash Blast 150% -> 155% (+5% if wielding a Sword or Axe)

Precision Swordsman (5 quests) Lv20 Sword Mastery, Lv40 Fighter.
When quests completed, Sword Mastery is upgraded to Lv20(+)
Sword Mastery 60% Mastery +20 ACC -> 70% Mastery +25 ACC.

I mean like, when you use slash blast on a mob, the damage goes
2500 -> 2100 -> 1700 -> 1100 -> 800 -> 400 it weakens after every monster it hits.

instead of that crappy formula, it'd be like 1700s all around for even distribution.

No it doesn't. Unless you have FA, which you shouldn't. And even then only on the FA part.
