Did You Lag More than Usual Today?

I keep seeing people in the forum complain about lag, but have yet to hear about it in game. I'm curious about how many people are lagging. :f6:

It's been terrible, yes. During the 2x events I got irregular (and sometimes frequent) spikes that caused the monsters to freeze. I even disconnected a couple times. This was at home with my solid connection.

Back here, on a less-than-great connection, I couldn't even bear to play.

No lag what-so-ever.

Yes, actually. Multiple d/cs, lag, near-deaths...

So much for server upgrades.

I lagged a ton yesterday, but not at all today.

I lagged a ton. I never DC'd, but I got damn close and often found myself spending 2-10 seconds waiting for my monsters to die.

Carlos had it worse than me, though. He DC'd after an hour and couldn't stop DCing any time after that. For the small amounts of time he was logged in his monsters didn't die, either. So eventually he just gave up and did something else. Sorry about your 2x card Carlos!

I usually don't lag at all, but today near 2x I was lagging a LOT. I dc'd twice too. D: (though that could have just been my stupid meanie computer or Comcast.)

Delicious lag throughout the entire event. Caused many near-deaths on my shadower yesterday and made using blizzard at skeles almost suicidal today. Oh, today was also spattered with numerous random D/Cs a few minutes apart from each other. Fun.

Oh well, 4x with lag was still faster EXP than 2x without.

I lagdied on my Aran, so yes the lag was horrible. :\

I was lag free and I'm running wireless on a 1 gig ;aptop. =x

I went to train during 2X yesterday and today. It was too laggy to train :| and I ended up dying today too.

MY internet connection is solid, and I hardly ever lag. But yesterday and today have been pretty bad. I mean, at least it's still possible for me to train, and monsters still die on time, but there's the occasional pot/freeze up lag.

Every member in every Newties party I've been in today and yesterday have been complaining about lag, and they lag while training. Almost all of them say that they rarely have issues with lag, but recently their connection has been crap.

I don't think it's so much the fact that everyone is training for their Aran, rather it's their new "server upgrade" that ruined everything. We already saw lag that was horrific directly after their "upgrade". I don't think they fixed the initial problem they had, rather just put a bandage on it and hoped that it would sort itself out.


By the way, I've already used up all my safetey charms from the Black Friday sale. Before the patch I had about 10 of them left. Within the past 2 days, pot lag alone as killed me 10 times. Everything on the client works normally, but when I press the pot my HP bar doesn't respond to it at all. Since some potions don't even produce sound effects (lazy nexon), you can't even really tell if they went through or not.

I've had terrible lag during the 2x events.

Not so much not during them, though.

Crazy pot lag and combo lag. Like combo resets to 1 because the monster already died but didn't die so it doesn't count as an extra hit.

another possibility is that the 2x event was during dinner/busy hours were everyone's home, on the internet doing stuff, so your ISP might be busy. Especially during holiday season.

I don't really know if it's because of the weekend + exam period (lols) connection, but this is the worst lag during 2x I've ever had for 4 months. I can literally stand at the same spot for 3 mins waiting for a monster to die/waiting for the potion to heal/be kicked out.

I lagged so much that I died 4 times on my corsair. Safety charms ftw.

Worst lag I have seen since that horrible summer in 2007. Nice way to waste a 2x card too.
