This game is awesome! I stumbled upon it while browsing /v/ one night. It seems pretty unheard-of so I thought I'd start spreading it.
It's a simple platformer. There's only two buttons. A is jump and S places a respawn point (where you show up when you die). It's a tough game, but it's nothing like I Wanna Be The Guy, even though it follows the same Point A -> Point B concept.
Here's a description from the About section inside of the game:

Here's a description from the About section inside of the game:
Love+ Wrote:It's a 3-bit platforming adventure game starring a nameless faceless character that hopefully you will ascribe your own personalities and quirks to. The goal of the game is to get from here to there, and depending on how well you do it, you're rewarded with a different finale. The game's great, the music's great, and the best part about it is that it's meant to be played in one sitting. You start the game with 100 lives, and the goal is to go through ten levels without losing all 100. Depending on how many lives you lose decides what ending you get. I haven't beaten it yet, so I dunno what the endings are like...
So, why the game? Well, I'm an amateur game designer, as pompous and as self-righteous as it sounds. I'm going to school for game design, and this is technically my solo project. I had a prototype of this game working half a year before I started attending school, but that was in an engine that I didn't make, and working within so many restrictions that it was hard to put any personality into it. Now I've learned a few things, and I can creatively stretch my legs.
Why love? Because love is a concept as ambiguous as this game is. Everyone has their own idea of love. Their own hopes and aspirations for what love holds, and we all approach love in different ways. Some of us are quick and straight to the point, while others are slow and cautious. There are also some people who don't believe in love, and I stand by the thought that they'll get nothing out of this game.
As for the melodious melodies that accompany the game, those are supplied by the creative genius known as James Bennett. He was too talented to let him sit in his cardboard box in the UK, so I had to get him to work on something. If you love his stuff as much as I do, go listen to him more: http://www.last.fm/music/james+bennett.
