Wow what a party Nexon makes life... check this out guys, so about 90% of the criticals I hit currently (at least for me, I really don't know how widely this applies), are "fake crits" I'll show you what I mean...
Here's a more clear one...
Skeletons either have 80k or 85k hp, or they somehow gained like 40k HP in the last patch
The red "Critical Damage" is just show, the base damage of my blizzard is what they are getting, not the "Critical damage"
Here's two more and a final pic with me in it...
I like this next one in particular, the one that takes 74k damage dies, but the one that takes 114k damage doesn't;
And here's the one with me in it just for reference or w.e.
For the ones like this last one where their HP bar isn't present, just note that its not the death animation for the skelegons, its the frozen animation...

Random numbers are out of sync. Look at it with 2 computers you'll see it.
Basically your screen isn't showing the same random damage numbers as the server is, so you're actually dealing less than 85k damage. On the flip side, with that 74k, the server is seeing a crit, so the thing dies.

Incorrect, in the 74k picture, it isn't a critical, its the second blizzard hit on that skelegon, the yellow numbers were working 100% of the time, almost absolutely NONE of my criticals were working, like I don't 1 hit skelegons whatsoever, so the ONLY way they could die in one hit is with a critical, and since I know I wasn't criticalling them, they all took 2 hits, and I saw maybe like 4 die in total from 1 hit? In 4 hours of training, theres no way in hell that SE only affected 4 of my hits with blizzard, server wasn't seeing different damage, criticals were all just failing.

Crits havent been working right completely for a lil while. Really sucks when you try to gauge how long itll take to kill something based solely on your average damage shown.

Does this mean that double shot, at least until this is fixed, doesn't have an advantage over arrow blow?

Archers have been suffering this since 4th Jobs, maybe even before.

More interesting = shadow partner desyncs... I've seen it do more than double the original hit's damage due to a crit. Which is odd, to say the least.

I have no problems with crits on my Corsair or Xbow. May just be a mage crit problem, or something with your computer.

Actually, everyone has this problem, even with attacks that aren't criticals. As someone said previously, your client has a random number generator built in to display some number in your attack range. This data however, isn't sent to the server, the server also has it's own random number generator that it uses to determine the actual damage you will deal to the mob.
The only time you'll really notice any problem with the damage displayed vs. the damage actually dealt is when you're in a magician, using your ultimate, and don't yet 100% 1-hit kill whatever it is that you're training on. Back when I had this problem at Newties (I could 1-hit Newties, but Nest Golems were only around 50% 1-hit kill) I would occasionally see 82-85000 damage displayed above the Nest Golem's, yet the Nest Golem would still have a sliver of health left.

Dude, that's not what this thread is about
The TS claims that he almost never 1hkos even with SE. It doesn't matter what's showing up, but it does matter what he's actually hitting.
