Bombing Bigfoot?

Crazy idea, but I want to know if it's possible with a Marauder helping push him away with invincibility frames, so I can bomb the he/she. That, and would I even be able to blow up the load of mesos before Bigfoot attacks? I'm still going to try since I'm bored and can't out-level my boyfriend anymore, but what's your take on it? I currently have a 93 Chief Bandit and the Marauder helping me is 92.

I'd say it's worth a shot, but start running if for some reason the Marauder can't KB anymore due to your ME (and I suspect he'll die a lot xD).

Actually its quite good possible, remember (maxed) Meso Explosion has the same range as Boomerang Step, so train yourself a bit with the distance.

Also, you can just drop mesos in dark sight, and blow them up from a distance when BF passes it.

Exactly what I was thinking. I remember this screenshot of some CB soloing BF at 8x.

Is there any link or reference to it? I'm still going to do it, but some tips on how to approach it, how much to drop, etc, from anyone who's done it would help a lot.

No personal experience, but I saw a friend do it several times. (She went from 115-118 booming BF).
Max DS is very helpful. It lets you keep haste speed. My friend had extra points from 3rd Job that she put into DS, I think you could also reset out of Double Stab.
She would drop 5k bags (not sure how many bags, but she usually dropped enough to boom twice before redropping. I thought the last 5 bags weren't used in damage calc, tho, so idk).
So she'd drop, aggro BF with BoT, run over to bags, boom once, DS, run through BF, boom again, DS and drop.
But yeah, learn the range on the explosions, and the range you have to be in to explode it.

If you're a sindit, you're fine. Use any claw, and stars. It's the safest way for a CB. Shadowers would just use BoomerangStep.

Aggro BF with Lucky Seven, or kill a few JrWraiths, and explode those mesos. Once it's following you, take it to a comfortable spot in the map and go into Dark Sight. I usually chose to drop mesos on a portal next to the end of the map. When BF walks to the end of a map, it tends to keep walking into the wall for a few moments, so it helps a little. Drop a large enough amount so you don't have to drop so often, but you will drop often anyways. So drop 500k-1m at a time in 5k bags. If Dark Sight is maxed, you won't need to worry about it cutting short halfway through your meso dropping. Now run away from BF to get a large enough lead ahead of it. You'll still be in DS. Run back through it, and lure it back, and from a distance, use M.E. once. Then go into Dark Sight, run to the other side, and bomb it again. Repeat until your mesos dropped are all gone. Then start dropping again. The only thing that kills you is your timing of taking DarkSight on and off. It'll take you around 20 minutes. And don't freak out when you're trying to bomb BF and you're afraid of getting too close. The explosion will KB it, and you'll have just enough time to go into Dark Sight again. If you didn't miss on most of your explosions, you should have only spent 7m.

If you kill a JrWraith during one of the explosions, and it drops a meso, try to loot it, or it sort of ruins your own mesos that you wanted to explode. It's not much of a problem if you don't loot the meso a JrWraith drops, but usually what ends up happening is that you're left with one of your meso sacks on the floor, and you'll think there's still another explosion left. You don't have to worry about it, but if you can notice when there's one bag on the floor left because you exploded a JrWraith meso, just loot it and start dropping again.

I have one point in L7, until I realized I didn't want to be an assassin, so I can probably lure with that, but another problem is that my M.E. isn't maxed. It's up to level 15, but do you think I should wait until it's at least close to maxed so I can get the most out of it?

I should've mentioned that being a sindit, max Keen Eyes would be best so you can be as far away as possible to lure. But luring with M.E. from the JrWraiths you kill should still work. I never tried using BoT like the other person suggested, so many that'll work for you too.

This comes down to how rich you are, how much patience you have, and if you think you'll have fun with it. If you're low on mesos, be prepared to ask your BuddyList for loans halfway through the battle.

I have a decent amount of cash, and I bet the EXP from it will be worth the risk. I've had a lot of bombing runs with Headless, and it doesn't sound much different than this. Thanks again.

I found bombing BF is extremely easy. You actually don;t need anyone to push the BF. You just go in Dark Sight mode and drop 5k bags ( Please take notice I spent around 8M to ME Solo BF, Don;t let the 8M fool you. At lv 121 I still gained 30% per kill with a priest.)

1.So here is the trick. Once you in DS mode the BF will ONLY walk left and right around you. so you are perfectly safe even more safe than having someone pushing BF for you. once you drop 1m of 5k ea meso bag.
2.Wait until BF turn around and walk to you. and then you charge at BF in Dark Sight mode. and then once you passed him deactive DS mode and recharge haste ( haste is very important.) and then go in DS again before he touch you. and go to the other side
3. Step 2 takes a bit pratice to bomb BF without dying. Ok so you passed BF and deactive DS and make sure you are half screen away from your 5k mesos bags. once you deactivate DS and wait for BF to turn around and walk in to the 5k meso bags. and use ME on him... (important note: DO NOT use meso bomb more than once. Because BF have invincible frame time. the 2nd bomb will always hit nothing. even BF is right in the Mesos bags) once you bomb him once. and go back in ds mode again!. This time you charge at him in Dark sight mode again. and ambush him on the other side. and keep repeating it. and have fun

Bonus if you have and thief friend who will help you drop meso bags. it would be much better and faster.

Works in any level as long as you have mesos bomb
