This is going to suck, so bad. FUUUU----. They told me not to throw punches, but I will if somebody gets on my nerves. Working here sucks as it is. Oh well, at least I get holiday-pay or whatever. It's like x1.5 or x2.0 for X amount of hours I work on Thanksgiving and Black Friday combined, or something. I normally get paid 9.70, so it'd be like.. well, breaking $14/hr I guess, assuming it is x1.5

A relative's girlfriend has her first shift on Black Friday. We all thought the same thing: Thank god she's patient and working register. She's a calm person, but with so many crazy people in an otherwise crappy economy, I'm sure she'd lay down a few bodybags before the police nab her.

funny and true story, but the backstory first.

its me, two competent guys, myself included makes 3, and a 4th who is mentally retarded. he has pushed an old woman out of his way, PHYSICALLY PUSHED HER, and then hit her with a cart from the row he was pushing; he threw a row of 6~8 carts into the cart door, BREAKING IT upon impact and having the security guy come out to fix it; let a cart hit some dude's 2 week old new car and left a giant scratch in the side on the paint (he was pushing a row, top-most one fell out, he did nothing to stop it); hit people MULTIPLE TIMES with the carts, and utterly fails to do the job, and HE STILL ISNT FIRED. i know that he's cost target money, especially with that car he scratched since target footed the bill.

man pisses me off, talks to himself incoherently, and fails to do the job passingly, and IS CLOSING TODAY/TONIGHT. none of the 3 of us can understand why he is closing. all the work the 3 of us will have done will be erased the instant he is working alone. trash will fill up, carts will empty out, etc etc.
