Lol, dark ultimate with cooldown.

Considering most of their skills are medium sized mob skills, that Dark Fog skill will be like a map clearer.

XD Dark Ultimate. And slightly nerfed MG @ 70%?

Oh, and hopes @ it being a strong single-target DPS Mage class with one skill that looks to be a metaphorical "Triple Shadow Partner" where you summon three dragons? Perhaps? And then each can use a single target skill simultaneously at a fast rate comparable to Triple Throw/Paralyze/similar speed skills 80-100 casts/minute?

If that's all true + apparent critical ability, then yes, we have a Night Lording Mage class on our hands with cooldown ultimates Blush

i wonder how/if ele wands would work this job, you could equip all for the bonus? buy one of each element <3___3 i need to start collecting if so :x some of the skills seem to have no element, so i assume you could use ele wands for the ma alone. kinda screwed mages AGAIN if true since demand will upstick again.

this really seems like a final nail in the coffin for arch mages... i just dont get how they stay relevant, i guess the upside is i could (maybe) move all my equips to the new job T___T

Tikey Wrote:Dear god. This class has so many damage buffs and useful defense/healing buffs. DO WANT.

Looking at the skills again, I might actually call this class extremely overpowered. There's a crap load of multiplier buffs which is exactly what the magic damage formula benefits greatly from. On top of that, there's stuff like Rush, Ress, elemental neutrality, improved healing, party magic resistance, mob stun, physical damage resistance, homing, and a wide arsenal of attacks.

Come one now people this is just the "hype" created from seeing a new class release. When did we not think Arans were
Quote:extremely overpowered
when we first saw it debut in KMST. Nexon isn't stupid. Their not spontaneously going to create an overpowered class. Plus the release of Evans shortly after the release of arans is basically PROOF that there will be more classes coming soon, are we going to be all "OMFG THIS CLASS IS OVERPOWERED!" everytime we see something new? Tongue

EDIT: Nexon "KOREA" is not stupid. Nexon America remains retarded and broken, sorry! Join KMS! lmao ^^

IIRC, Nexon Korea actually made Arans stronger than when they were first announced. While Arans did have their perks when they were first announced, they were far from extremely overpowered. Whether or not Nexon Korea decides to tweak the Evan skills or not is completely up in the air. But in the current state that this class is now, it can be seen as extremely overpowered in comparison to the current mage classes.

well... all i know for sure is, a lightning spear attack at lvl 30 (with maybe even faster casting?)... is "kinda" broken seeming... but thats based off the idea of comparing this to what we have now, so obviously its going to seem like "overkill".

comparing many of these new skills to what the magic classes have now at the same level... is just depressing xD

i dont know if its really "broken" though, or just more balanced to weapon attacking classes. but its def way stronger then the current magic chars we have now... which a good thing. its nice to see nexon maybe trying to balance magic to wep attack. right now all we have is magic jobs where one monopolizes all the good buffs and the others are only relevant thanks to one skill, its definitely broken in its current state.

Maybe skills are overpowered because they have no elemental advantage? unless they start adding new elemental weakness. No dark elemental wand too Biggrin

I hope someone would be kind and translate this soon Frown

I see quite a few summons there, maybe we are able to summon more than 1 at same time.

(Lightning Bolt only has 20 levels)

I guess you're right.

Guys, the plan probably is making new powerful jobs to make killing Pink Bean and the future "end-game" boss easier. Right now, nobody has killed Pink Bean in GMS or KMS legitly. That's because of the lack of HP some jobs have, sure, but it's also because of the timer. To kill it in such a small period of time you have to recruit VERY powerful people, and even then, it'll be very hard. These jobs, with their powerful skills and their very useful party defense buffs, are going to be VERY useful for it.

Anyway, I really like how this "legendary jobs" thing is turning out to be. I'm really looking forward this and the other legendary jobs.

How powerfulwill the legendary archer/thief/pirate be? Only time will tell.

Also, I'm really looking forward to see the Evan's gameplay and, most importantly, its story.

Here's google's translation, although I'm not 100% sure if the same link will work for everyone: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl...26no%3D309

Seems like it should though. The resurrection-like skill confuses me. I guess when it's maxed, for 5/10 minutes up to two dying players will immediately get resurrected if they're part of the party. Basically the class can reseruct for half the time at a boss. So if there's 6 of them in a party that's basically 12 resurrects per 10 minutes split up to 6 for the first 5 and 6 for the second half.

I wonder if they'll end up being good bossers. The magic attack formula is probably going to end up hurting them considering how chaos scrolls and weapons work. Make the attacks too good and unfunded players will be able to deal good damage, make the attacks more balanced at low levels and well-equipped players will get outdone more and more by other classes.

I think its just like a normal resurrection but much shorter cooldown of 10min and limited to 2 at maxed level. Bishop resurrection can go upto 5 people within the range, but this one only 2 at maxed level.

The google translation is weird though, it almost makes it seem like you have to sacrifice random 1-2 people to resurrect the 1-2 already dead lol.

Edit:
Thanks for the video.
In the above video, the attack seems rather slow Sad not even at magic claw speed. But it does seem to have a nice range. Looks like you just control the skills like you always have in maple. Now I need to make both Aran and this because I want to try out the combo version too Sad

And also does this one share the CS inventory with your Aran?

What's good about this class is that it makes proper use of the magic damage formula: raising the base attack of spells and applying more multipliers; the two most contributing factors to magic damage which in turn makes magic attack have a greater effect.

This looks really interesting but I really hope they'll somehow 'fix' elemental reset so it actually does normal damage when the monster is immune to the respective element. And sharp eyes + magic critical = win. Too good to be true.
