Regarding Pets

I will purchase a white tiger once they come in the cash shop as permanent.

I have a few question regarding pets in maple.

1. Do you have to feed them or they won't leave/die regardless?
2. Are there necessary quests to be done?
3. Anything else I should know?

1) You feed them pet food to keep them outside and to raise their happiness.
2) No quests are "necessary", though there are completable quests that award closeness - one of the quests adjusts your pet's walking speed to yours.

I hope the quests work. I want to be able to do Kenta's pet food quest. By the way, I'm sure you still have to feed them, and if you don't, they just go back into your inventory, and you lose 1 closeness.
