I remembered seeing this song on TV (Yes, in the US) when I was like... in 6th grade, there was some weird Chinese or Japanese channel back then, and they would always show an episode of DBZ LATE at night on Saturdays or something, and this song would always come on, since it was near the Buu-arc of the story. I remembered reading DBZ manga when I was like 5 too, good times.. ;_;
PS: If you guys didn't know, Akira Toriyama originally wanted Gohan to be the MAIN and leading character near the end of DBZ, which was why the intro centered around Gohan so much. But he ditched the idea later on, which was why Goku appeared more on the anime, and was the one to kill evil Buu.
