Boss Hunting
#1
Any tips on stalking and then eliminating bosses? Is it really as boring as it seems to be? I did a search but there was nothing that addressed boss hunting methods. Thanks very much for your time and response. BiggrinPoast

changing channels in the map and then attacking it when it spawns seems to be the popular method

Oh u

The only tip I can give is to try to find more obscure bosses or unpopular bosses. This way you are more likely to have them for yourself.

^^

Also, if you have "tracks" down (aka know when they're spawned a certain amount of time after they have been killed), that plays to your advantage. Do this correctly, and you can pretty much have the boss to yourself while the others are hopping channels in vain.

Another tatic I use is that in case that I'm the underdog, I usually go into "deny the enemy" mode, where I simply find and eliminate as many bosses as I can before the others can get to it. Seems selfish, but hey at least you're denying your opponents additional boss kills. Wink

but boss hunting now is a bad idea, everyone is killing them off because of the coins

Thanks for all your help.
I have been trying to track their spawn times but it seems to be hit or miss. Also my lvl (28 mage, warrior, rogue) relagates me to only Mano and Stumpy. I have read that they both have spawn times of around 45 minutes. Those dern pomagranate coins are so enticing (dern you Maplestory!) that I tend to hunt in the dead of night. The strategy is arrive, kill spawn, wait 5 minutes then leave if nothing appears. I like the "deny the enemy" tactic. Rolleyes
