Potential MTS Scam

We are aware of a visual scam in the MTS that some sellers are abusing. This visual scam partially hides the full price of an item, and some sellers are taking advantage of this and tricking unsuspecting players into purchasing a too-good-to-be-true deal. These sellers tend to have very long character names which partially cover the full price of the item.

We are working towards a resolution for this scam, and we will be taking action against any players we find abusing this visual scam. If you would like to report any potential abusers of this scam, please submit a ticket in the Harassment category with a link to a screenshot of the abuser.

Here's an idea Nexon: make it so that when you hold your cursor over the item, the full price of the item shows up on the bottom of the item screen. LIKE IT DID UNTIL THIS PATCH.

This is as bogus as it gets. If you're too stupid to at least "add to cart" and check the real price before buying it, or even double check on the nub's ign before "ogm so cheep i snipe dis b4 ne1 else cuz i pro" attitude, you should be at fault to lose your precious nx.

Most people buy outright on the front page, meaning if the deal was real, itd be gone by the time you double checked in your cart.

As many others said, this is a pretty obvious scam, you've gotta look before buying. And a notice by Nexon on top of that? Hahaha!

This involved their system being used to defraud consumers. Failure to correct it could have been construed as them aiding or enabling the scam and their entire premise for why you have to use "NX Prepaid" in MTS is to prevent and reduce fraud.

Granted anyone who actually sorted by price wouldn't have been impacted by it because the misleading ones immediately become evident.

Wait so now people that have long names shouldnt MTS?

Having a 12 letter name is not against the ToS >=(. And neither is putting up a price (higher than 10K) on the MTS
