Banned for a month. Again. And this time, I wasn't even logged in on the time of ban, nor was I online yesterday more then a half hour. So, well, DAMN IT.

That sucks! What was everything you did while logged in? Just the Witch Tower JQ for the Pink Bean crap, or something else?

As far as I know, my character is still clothed on the rankings. He still has the MMS and my nicely scrolled wisdom staff, so... Goggleemoticon

EDIT: I trained at brextons for a full 20 minutes during 2x.

Probably Maple Watch thinking you were another hacker at Brextons?

^ That's possible.

I've heard that if a GM themself bans you, it doesn't take effect until you log off.

And the thing is, it says the 24th. I wasn't online till 6 or 7 on the 24th. I did all of that yesterday, the 25th.

@Shikage: They can boot you from the game though.
@Erich: A month ban is 30 days. 25 + 30 = 24

What they said last time. I'm not even bothering, I can't even send tickets due to that website glitch.

Rankings is broken again. If you check your exp carefully it's still the amount you should have before patch .77.

There seem to be a lot of false bannings happening. And Nexon just turned loose their volunteer GMs. Coincidence?
Look at that guy, he's freezing up several monsters. Gotta be a hack.

Another possibility: Do you have bad lag? Lag effects can look like hacks to other onlookers. Always worries me when I train during real bad lag (2 or more seconds) and someone comes onto my map.

why is everyone blaming MWLB? They don't even have banning privileges. They are just glorified reporters. The GMs still do the banning.

These bannings lately are due to the Maple Police system crap...

It's (afaik) maple's internal banning system, it goes outside any GM or any Hackshield...

And now (since the patch) it's malfuncioning, and people get banned...

Btw, if a GM see's anyone hacking, it's kick & permban, the 1 month is the autoban system...

Current bans since patch: 3 buddies... -.-

There were bans like this before the "volunteer GMs" came about. Also, it's easy to tell when someone is lagging and actually hacking. I have experience with judging the difference between the two. If you can't tell the difference between lag and a hack, you're not qualified to be a GM.

Yes, there's no reason to blame them. Their reports simply weigh more than others, but it doesn't mean they can ban. They can report something, but a GM has to come look at it before banning.
