multi login patched?
#1
When I try to login 2 MS on 2 different users, I get a BSOD 50% of the time.

Is it patched or something?

Nexon can't patch this. It's probably your computer that's tripping, are you running on 32-bit? If you are you'll recieve this error.

I am on 32bit WinXP, but it does not always crash. Why is it only 32 bit that has the problem? And is there any way to reduce the # of crashes?

32-bit Vista will not go, ive had no problems running duals (and more even) on a 32-bit XP system with only 2 gigs of RAM.

Well no one runs on 32-bit any more really, so you're bound to have crashes every time you try. My suggestions is to upgrade (not for maple reasons, but generally) your ram space and bit. Also try getting Win7 it's known to run two maples perfectly!

I used to be able to run 6+ times without any lag though.

Was this before maples file size increased???

I blame it on the 32-bit-ness. I have 64-bit and a couple days ago I had 9 MS clients up on separate accounts. No problems running any of them.

What's wrong with 32bit? Sad

They have done something, I used to be able to have Maple running for days with no problems. Now I start to run out of memory and get a "low memory" warning after a day or two.

*I'm a noob when it comes to computers so my computer could be dying instead of there being a problem with Maple*

I was able to run MS 6+ times like a month ago. There has to be something either in the game client or on my PC that changed. I haven't really changed anything on my PC so that is why I think Nexon made some changes.

I had a problem like that to. but I had forgotten that I didn't give any of my "run maple only" accounts admin control.

All of them are admin for me, though.

I believe if anything has been fixed, Ahnlab Hackshield would be the one to blame, not Nexon.

... more then 50% of the people who own computers are still on 32 bit. :f6:

windows 7 is still glitchy btw, bad internet drivers :| I'll stay on XP till they fix that.

And to OP: Its your computer. it works fine for me.

MSEA also have this patched. Its actually hackshield that is blocking multi login, not the maplestory client itself, so nexon request hackshield to block it, not they patch it.
