Should Throws get married in Vegas?
#1
So some of you might remember that half marathon I ran last week. Well, they're having one in Vegas the first week of December, and while browsing their website, I stumbled upon this: Get Married on the Course!

Basically, a reverend runs alongside all the couples who decide to participate, and you say your vows and tie the knot while running 13.1 miles.

I showed it to my fiance and we are seriously considering it.

WHAT DO YOU SOUTHPERRICANS THINK?

Do it and youtube it. It seems like something you and your fiance both enjoy, and it would be great memories and a story to tell your kids some day. Go for it.

Felix, you and I both know that as much as I love you, my 32As would never be able to satisfy you.

If ya both like running, why not? But on the other hand, how will your families feel? You should try and get a reception planned for it as well so that family can partake.

Wait, nevermind, I forgot that Felix loves all-natural.

Throws, you should ditch them both and marry me. I'm in the area.

sure, if you're both seriously thinking about it, then why not? It'd be a hell of a lot less generic.

By the way, am I the only one who thought it'd be funny if the reverend tripped during the ceremony?

This is the one thing that makes me hesitate. Especially coming from a super traditional Catholic Filipino family.

The way we would "resolve" this issue would be to have a ceremony/reception the day before the race for the family, since I'm sure neither of us would want to have a big hoo-hah after the run. Then we run our thing, and maybe just have our immediate family in Vegas for the ceremony so they could take lots and lots of pictures.

My fiance is all for the idea if I really want to do it.

If we're still talking in innuendo: what you just suggested sounds very illegal.
