So I'm going to college
#1
or not Rolleyes

(Wasn't sure to put this in speakeasy or angry dome, first time and all)

To catch you up to speed, three weeks ago I enrolled myself into a college bound program for the Art Institute of Washington. (Yah, one of those schools they advertise on tv e.e) When I origionally applied in june, my application was denied because my gpa was slightly too low. Eventually they offered the college bound to make up the points and be admitted to the school. The Program would be five weeks long, for two days a week starting Tuesday, October 6th.

So I go on to buy a bit more than 300 dollars worth of non-refundable two-way train tickets for the five weeks I would be going there. I go the first day, and all is well; I bought books to study the coarses, and made a few freinds. When I attend the program the second day that week (last thursday) the oh-mighty president of admissions calls my cell (still not sure how they got that number) and tells me that I was accepted to the school that very day. He said some stuff about me going above and beyond to get into the school, and how committed i was for making such a long commute coming to the schooll twice a week from two hours away and some bull~. Of coarse I was glad, BUT WAIT THERE'S A TWIST! I have to start school this coming Monday meaning, I have four whole days to 1. Register for loans. 2. Buy all that good stuff for a dorm. 3. Cancel whatever plans I had for the month. And 4. Get all the paper work done by Monday or I'm aoutomatically dropped from the school.Rolleyes

Thursday all of the family and close friends were very enthusiastic, passing around a load of "Congratz" and "If you need and financial help, just call." Funny thing about that one. Three loan denials later, no ones around to back up the financial help talk offering to co-sign or any other kind of help. And the loan is the last thing we need to get me moved in. Honestly this is the most stressed I've been about with anything. With another two days left to get it all done, I might as well give it up. Tongue

Not even your parents will back you up, lol?

Well, I have to do all most the work myself since my mother refuses to by a computer back at her place. As for grandparents, they like to pull the "Last Resort" card

I want to go to the Ai of Seattle so badly but my dad is so worried about the cost. I even got my friend to like that collage. I kind of feel the same way. Although to the fact that my dad is afraid of me not being able to pay the loan back after collage.Frown
