Statistics lie. Pretty much as simple as that. The people that fund the project usually get results from the project that are beneficial to them. There is no reliable way to measure intelligence of one person, (IQ tests have met with a lot of scepticism,) how to do you measure the intellect of a large population?

Pretty retarded list. Why would anyone care about these findings? It looks like the results were largely determined by stupid things like total food consumption, sales of fish and physical health. It's not mapping intelligence, as you put it. It's mapping "brain health."

That's the joke . Connecticut I think has the top school in the united states, I know my High school is in the top ten based on test scores.

Yale is not the best, it meets heavy competition from Princeton, Stanford and especially Harvard. Princeton was the university Albert Einstein chose as his base after fleeing from Nazi Germany. And the Harvard-Yale brawl has been going on since before America was America.

I'm surprised Georgia wasn't on the bottom 10. My high school was mostly driveling fools.

I got moved from a rank 17 state (New York) to a rank 27 state (Virginia) in order to get a better education. THANKS MOM AND DAD!

Well just so were clear I am not at all arguing that this survey is legit. I just thought it would be fun to see where your state was according to their standards. A lot of the people I went to Georgetown with could be described as having literally no personality. They were elitist, arrogant, but at the same time boring people that really didn't have much of a mind for anytihng but fuucking and drinking. They just happened to be good at tests and papers, so they went to that school. There's a LOT of people that go to so-called "2nd tier" schools but they really deserve to be in Harvard or Yale. With the tuition those fuuckers charge, and with the competition to get in them, even a lot of totally qualified people are excluded. That's the whole point of "exclusive" organizations, be they top-tier schools or "members only" clubs -- they remain exclusive by excluding people.

A woman once came into my mom's clinic, a substitute teacher for the Chicago school system doing a work exam. On our papers she spelled the word "substitute" wrong. People like that are the norm in the Chicago school system, not the exception.

If your teacher is a dumb fuuck that can barely read or write himself, you won't learn much.
