I've been reading the "general maplestory" section for the past few months and thought this was a community i'd like to join. (I sure hope I was right)
I have a quick question as well, since i've noticed some recent spam in the general section I was just wondering about the "report" button.

What about the report button?
(it's located on the left hand side below a users "IGN, SERVER, LEVEL, JOB,Guild" thing... or in my case below my avatar...)

You use the report button when you see anyone say Derp, it's an instant perma-ban for them.

Well i've been reading around the "site announcements" section and it pretty much answered all the questions I had about everything.
(I feel like such a noob even posting this thread now)

To do so, include a tag around your post with brackets [ and ] surrounding it. The tags should read color="cc8899" and /color respectively. The easiest way to do this is to highlight your post, select a font color from the dropdown menu, and replace the font color name with cc8899. Use my post as an example.[/COLOR]

No no no, he was partially correct. You DO have to type in a color, and that color is 'red'. ♥

[COLOR="Green"]You title changes based on the amount of posts you make. I forget exactly where the list is, but Fiel made it one night while he was drunk.
You can also donate to the site and be able to get your name in red and pick whatever title you want.[/COLOR]

I'd like to point out if the obnoxious people who post in colors ever annoy you there's an option to turn them off in the user CP titled: "Remove user font modifications." Simply check the box and browse the forums without eye strain. :]
