Show choir.

Anyone else here love show choir? Some people seem to find it lame. But I totally love it anyways.

I've also been wanting to watch Glee, but I keep forgetting every night it's on. But their cover of Don't Stop Believing is just fantastic.

I'm in my school choir of about 180 people, and it's.. fun.

My old high school never had a show choir while I was there, but one of the school's in the same district has the best in the state - and apparently the nation? I'd have to talk to my friends in it.

Show choir is amazing though, and honestly had there been one at my high school I would have done it hands down. I'm auditioning for my university's in the spring, so we'll see how that goes.

And on the subject of Glee, yes, it's amazing. If you don't watch it you should; if you love music I don't know why you haven't seen it yet. It's NOT HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!

For the Gleeks: The most accurate example of show choir from the show, I feel, was Vocal Adrenaline's Rehab on the pilot episode. The main club's performance at their school assembly and their version of Don't Stop Believin' at the end of the pilot are close, but as anyone involved/knowing of show choir knows, it is as they say - not a project of 6-8 people, but of a vast number. All of the other songs have so far been little individual montages that feel more like music videos (Bust Your Windows especially) than show choir hits...though we're only 5 episodes in, so hey ;D.

I did indeed get the chance to see it last night in Milwaukee for their closing performance here; it was absolutely fantastic. I hope you definitely get to see it later this month!

Glee! i hope they are it here in singapore next year. I only get to see bits of scenes on youtube.

And yeah, i like show choirs... i find it better than watching sports or wtv.

Glee's rendition of gold digger and No air was absolutely fantastic. It blew me away, both Mercedes and Lea. All it needs now is to be played over in Singapore :>
