Forced logout and random disconnects?
#1
After taking a break from maplestory for various reasons, and playing JMS a little when I was online, I decided to boot up Global today. At first I got in, and disconnected immediately, without any disconnection mentioned, and returned to the login screen I tried logging in again, got to character select, and then disconnected from the client. I got in again after that, was on for ehh....3 minutes, and then disconnected to the login screen as before, without any message. I tried about 5 more times with both versions of disconnecting. Any idea what could be causing this?

Did you try reinstalling the client?
It could also be that you have both JMS and GMS. Sometimes when you have 2 instances of Maple on the same computer, the clients go wacko. :f6:

2 instances? Try 10. I've had more then 1 client in the computer for a long, long time. And I clicked repair, would it do the same as reinstalling?

I'm not sure. Those "Repair" things always seem to screw them up more for me.

So that wasn't just me?
On Saturday, right after Hackshield closed, the black screen came up (showing that Maple was opening), and then all of a sudden closed. Didn't think they could've been related, but I guess they could be? But yeah, it worked after I reinstalled it...:f6:
