You could get more than the 1b you'd get from selling the pieces by makering equips and selling them for more.

Warrior overalls can sell for at least 300-350m (which is more than twice what you'd get if you just sold the pieces) if you put an advanced garnet on them. (i have one, if you want one)

This only proves a store with a huge reserve of PoTs can be sold at a slightly higher price, since they obviously aren't going anywhere, meaning people can get their pieces to instantly make their Reverse equipment if needed. Definitely a good selling strategy.
