Can someone please tell me what is exactly is in this speech that parents think is necessary to censor by taking their kids out of class tomorrow? I just don't understand, Obama is just saying to kids of all ages to stay in school. He isn't announcing some bills you have to support, just announcing the importance of education. I think the president is saying something supportive and I've no idea why people are against this, cause I remember reading in the news that Reagan delivered a speech and George W Bush read books to some kids.

Nothing is really wrong with the content of the speech. The controversy had to do with some teaching guide that asked children "how they can help the president."

Parents are going psycho because they'd being fed mis-information and lies through Fox News. It's fear-mongering. I listened to the speech today and it had NOTHING to do with bills or healthcare. But then again, psycho parents will be psycho parents. =/
