Echo of Hero formula?
#1
It says "4% weapon attack", how is this calculated?

I tried all of the following:

(str*4.6+dex)*Watk/100*1.04
(str*4.6+dex)*(Watk/100+.04)
(str*1.04*4.6+dex)*(Watk/100)

None of these are giving the correct damage; what is the formula for including echo?

It's 2%.

edit: my bad I thought you were talking about Cygnus Echo.

It says 4% on the skill and 2% doesn't fit in any of the formulas either.

It definitely isn't just range * x% since I get a different % boost if I change equips.

I think it is just that you add up all your weapon attack and take 4% of that and add it on.

Simply put, if you had 100 total weapon attack, then with Echo you'd have 104 attack.

That would be ((str*4.6+dex)*Watk/100*1.04) or ((str*4.6+dex)*Watk/100*1.02) but neither of those work.

I believe it calculates the damage as if nothing, then multiplies the final result with 1.04.

Makes sense, doesn't it?

EDIT: If it isn't the case, I'd suggest to test a BM with 90% mastery and see the results, to clarify. Easier to come up with them.

I don't know what you mean. Calculate as if nothing? Can you show an example?

For example, using the normal formula, if you were supposed to deal 10000 damage, you'd deal 10400 instead. Only that they are shown in the actual attack numbers.

Unless I'm missing something along the lines of "It deals way more/less", sounds plausible.

That would be the first formula I tried: (str*4.6+dex)*Watk/100*1.04

However, this is definitely wrong. I am not getting a 4% or 2% increase in range. In fact, the % change isn't even stable. I get a 1.5%~1.7% change depending on what equips I am wearing. (If it was actually just an x% boost that is added after the normal formula, it would be the same % no matter what items you wear.)
