Would it be possible to buy a zhelm (on a regular run), scissor it via MTS cash, then sell it for about 50m profit? Well, I know you can do that, but would zrunners kick you out once they figure out what you're doing, or wouldn't they mind?

You could but regular waiting lists are usually a couple weeks so it would take awhile. As well as you can't play the character while you're merchanting it.
And I don't think it's quite 50m profit..
You could just tell them you're breaking them all with 70%s, I'm sure some groups get repeat buyers for that reason.

Zrunners would probably kick you.

Personally, I would take someone like you on a regular basis if you could survive partyless. You would basically be a helm looter mule, so you'd be like part of the squad and would get a split.

Unless you're part of the guild/run group, it's usually frowned upon. I know many guilds who use this tactic themselves to make more mesos out of their Zakum runs, so I doubt they'll love for an "outsider", if you'll excuse the use of the term, making more profit from the runs.
Of course, I doubt people will find out. Just run with different groups, and if you get caught, you could always just say you're scrolling your helm.

Dang, I was hoping that people wouldn't mind, but I guess it does double or triple your profit to use your own zhelm mule.

I can survive partyless O:
Still, a zhelm mule would need to get a bigger chunk of the money because you have to buy scissors and all.

Well, it's pretty dang close. A typical zhelm run costs 30-35m, and I bought a green chair for 30m and MTS'd it for 4.3k NX. So that means the scissors would cost about 20m, meaning 45-50m profit if you sell it for 100m. And then more if you get one above average.

Well, the fact that a certain player is constantly buying Zakum Helmets from a single guild obviously implies that they have been using Scissors and then selling the Helmets. After all, 70% for scrolling is better than 60% and right behind 100% (Ignoring special scrolls with different per cents right now), so while it is possible that the Helmet will break throughout the 10 slots, the guilds do not quite expect you to really break that many times.
Not to mention that the costs for the Helmet scrolls may be expensive (Depending on what scrolls), along with the pots needed to buy for surviving Zakum runs, so that also bites away some profit too.
For defence against such events, I know a guild in Scandalia that has this policy: If you use Scissors of Karma on your Helmet, you are not allowed to buy another Helmet from them for one month. The scrolling and breaking excuse only works if they have someone personally see you break the Helmet while scrolling.

If you alternate runs on your 4 characters and occaisionally lag out you might be able to pull it off.

It's 35m in Yellonde too, if you know the right guilds.

The chances of the helmet surviving ten 70%s at all is actually lower than 20%, so breaking a ton of helmets is easily understandable. Also, that last part doesn't really make sense to me, why should what the person does with the zakum helmet even matter? I don't even get why people even sell runs anymore at such a low price, might as well get another person to run on a helm looter mule, have people run helmless, or have people run on two computers to loot helms and sell them in the FM. Laziness doesn't really explain it either because selling in FM is much less hassle than dealing with the many problems that come along with random buyers.

More like if you know the only guild. Rebirth is the only one that sells runs and hatsukoi only sells Karma'd ones.

Whats wrong with 30% scrolls? I'm always relooting because im after 4/4 30s to pass on a helm.. Thats my excuse anyways.

according to rank you're 99, if you know the right people &/or are in the right guild, just wait not even a week to get 4rth job, be part of real run and get split.
I mean by nowadays stangard 100-120 is done so quickly even faster if you leech (which seems to be the "only" way nowadays to survive the 11X pit, and actually isn't one anymore for a long time).
I don't know the situation in Windia but the zhelm run pretty much died out with scissors beeing available, reason is simple: as everybody sell zhelm through scissors, not a lot of run are open anymore since PT gets more peso scissoring, as every guild is scissoring, the only way to get zhelm without the right connection is pretty much through FM.
It seems a lot of trouble to get profit when you can train very fast then beeing able to get in good run and get split and in the meantime collect profit through zMM-bMM-Kimera-Pap run for yourself in a way less trouble way than zRun.
then again that's what I did in Kradia because I can chan-surf the whole 13-Kimera-zMM-bMM without problem in the weekdays when I want, and now I'm just strating soloing pap on 2drop, waiting a couple days to get strong enough to be in zRun

You do realize that there's only a .81% chance of that happening, right?
Still guys, I may do this, either officially as part of the run or unofficially as a buyer of sorts. I don't think guilds will mind too much unless they have some mission to helm all of Windia, since it'll be nice for them to always have one non-idiotic buyer guaranteed for each run. However, I'm not going to lie about blowing up my zhelm. The last thing I want to do is piss off a bunch of powerful zrunner for a few meso.
@ LeJoueur: I would do it on my 7x Blaze Wizard, since my Marauder is already helmed (and need it to wear stuff). Still, I have yet to try "B>SCROLLS@@@@" for profit, so regular old merchanting may be my most convenient option.

I'm aware of the odds and I also said it was my excuse to why im always relooting. I know a few of them know what i'm up to but overall the squad couldnt care less. They are getting their 40m each run I go on and they know they dont need to babysit, hb or tell me where to stand so really a win/win for both sides.
I'm not rich or insane enough to actually try n pass 4/4 30%s. Wish I was..

Do you guys think that the zakum helmet selling business will continue to happen without a major drop in price? If so that will be the best mesos earning agenda ever.

Selling Zakum Helmets is not as easy as it looks like (Unless you have enough NX waiting to be used).
In FM itself spamming is basically useless. You get crap offers and such. So you would need a store. 1,8k for the permit store. If you can't leave computers on, then you need to buy a mushie.
Then again it needs to get sold. I noticed in the Broan FM less and less people are buying clean zhelms in stores and if they were sold, they were mostly above and ''cheap''.
