Your options are more limited without Ice Splitter. Squids, Jr. Newties, and Windraiders are the only places that I can think of that will net you good exp without burning potions like mad.

Outlaw is hell. Not because of bad damage, but because it's just as pineappleing boring as being a Hermit and your training spots are kinda limited.
